      Totally disagree. I can't stand the character. Same with Jason. I'm guessing Maurice Bernard is probably just on vacation and they will bring him back when his vacation is over. I actually wish they WOULD kill him off but I don't see it happening.

      laura...anna...jackie...robert...bobbie make the show...not sonny...these people were on waaaaay before we knew a sonny. I don't like the characters of jason or sonny...they have ruined the show...I want the quartermaines back

      I wish maurice and steve would both quit the show and take sonny and jason with them...but who else is going to hire them...they have no other acting opportunities. so therefore they will continue to run gh into the ground. the ratings are awful..if you want to see some good general hospital episodes...google the wendy riche days in the early 90's and the stuff in the late 80's

      Sonny and Jason are thugs. Tony Soprano loved his family, too, but was still a murdering gangster. I would love to see them both off the show and have the show return to a focus on the goings on in the hospital. You know, since it IS called General HOSPITAL - not the Sonny and Jason Show.

      Sonny doesn’t “make the show.” He’s one dimensional and the actor can’t even do a scene without cue cards. GH hasn’t been number one for decades. Before he came along, it was the top soap, with diverse storylines featuring all the actors, with the hospital as the common thread. If anything, he breaks the show and having him gone is a breath of fresh air for longtime viewers.

      One thing he is not, he's not a drug dealer. He may of given drugs to his underage strippers in the past, and by letting Alcazar run drugs through PC. That was in the past though. Right now he's not involved with drugs, unless you are referring to his own prescribed manic depressive medication. I love his character,his family, and friend's interactions on GH. Obviously has grown a lot since he initially joined the GH characters/cast. He may be a mob kingpin, but he has a lot of good qualities also. He loves his children, family, and friends. He will do anything to help them if he's able. Sonny and Jason are not running GH's ratings into the ground either. As of 12/28/2020, they are number 2 (age 18 to 49 women's age group) following only Y&R, but every Soap is having the same problem, with their ratings are going down.       you are young...when sonny first came on the show he gave karen drugs to dance at his club...stop glorifying this character I am so sick of hearing this...the ratings are in the toilet and you need to go and find a man.

      You are the one talking about his "past." There are lots of people on GH that have done things they regret. Especially the Quartermaine family too, even Laura, Anna, Jackie, Bobbie, and yes...even angel Robert.FYI. I am not young, I'm pretty sure I'm older than you are dear.

      Why do you think I need to find a man? I'm happily married going on 21 years now. Maybe you should find a woman or man, whatever your preference is. I don't think that the link to the article I posted is a lie in regards to ratings either. You need to calm down in your posts. Not everyone here thinks the way you do. Everyone has opinions, they are not the same, you know how that goes...

I never can understand why people have to be so negative & Miserable all the time and calling other fans in the group nasty names randomly right out of the blue.Just because they say that they like a certain character. Which is the only reason for this comment section. But someone is so miserable that they have to be mean and insult the fan with horrible names. This world has too many people with a screw lose trying to suck everyone's happiness away.

    Well a lot of characters we thought made the show have left and either were killed off or just left town. No one thought GH had a chance to survive when Luke Spencer left town and if it survived without him the show, at one time centered all around Luke Spencer. If it can survive without Luke Spencer it could definitely survive without Sonny. Sonny hasn't done 1/10 of what made Luke famous on GH.

    Cyrus cyrus cyrus is this man using the death of dead kid to threaten Brando what an ass old, and did he threaten joslyn, when is sonny coming back they need to put cyrus in the ground.Did Olivia know that julian put the bomb at the floating rib that put lulu in a coma she was crying a little too hard over that guy i guess it was for the loss of a father for leo but leo has ned for now anyways.There is no redeeming cyrus but if this man had a love interest would he mellow out, he is obviously desperate for someone to love him, mother issue much. He seemed to be eying jackie yikes.

    So is Laura planning a good gaslighting on Cyrus? Maybe start having him hear his mother's voice, telling him he's been a bad boy? Haha.....it's been awhile since we've seen a good gaslighting. I'd be good with that.
