  3. Getting into muay thai clinch?
quillquake2001 13 years ago#1So I just started playing the game and am pretty much a total newb. In hindsight, perhaps muay thai wasn't the best starting style to go with, but hey, what's done is done.Anyways, my question is this: How do I reliably get into the muay thai clinch where I can use moves like strong whip and such? I can't figure out how to reliably do it, half the time I end up just doing a takedown... Any help?XBL Gamertag: Phoenix13THSteam ID: Mystro_13
ThatBoyIsAMan 13 years ago#2LB+minor will get you into the thai clinch if you selected Muay Thai as your base. Otherwise, you will get the single collar grab and have to do a minor transition to get the full clinch."What, we're throwing spinning **** now?" GT: Robotech2020
MetalOcelot 13 years ago#3You can also flick up on the right stick and catch a punch and do minor transitions to the clinch
chessmyantidrug 13 years ago#4The correct answer is hold LB and perform a clinch. This will put you in single collar tie. Then perform a minor transition and you will be in the Muay Thai clinch. Holding LB and performing a minor transition during any clinch is likely to perform a throw, suplex or takedown. If you're in career mode, you won't perform any throws, suplexes or takedowns without first learning them. Likewise, you can't perform Strong Whip (LB + minor transition + A or B while in Muay Thai clinch) until you learn it.
