Gary Holtof Slayer and Exodus is a legend in the world of thrash metal. His LTD Signature Series GH-600 is based on the Eclipse body style, and was designed by Gary himself to handle the most aggressive, fast, and powerful playing you can muster. Its tone is driven by a pair of red-covered EMG active pickups: the EMG 89R in the neck, with a coil splitter controlled by a volume knob pull switch, and the in-your-face EMG 81 in the bridge. The GH-600NT offers a set-thru neck design, with its three-piece mahogany neck going deep into the guitar's mahogany body cavity for terrific stability and smooth, unhampered access to the highest frets on its ebony fingerboard. This guitar's vibe is accentuated by red binding on the body, neck, and headstock contrasting its glossy Black finish. The GH-600NT includes a Floyd Rose tremolo and Grover tuners. Also available in a non-tremolo version with the GH-600NT.

This guitar is extraordinary. Amazing playability, great tones, killer look, just perfect. I have it tuned at B standard. I don't wonder why Gary uses this particular one live as much as he does with the esp one. I only wish I had bought this version and not the NT. I miss the Floyd rose. Esp makes the best guitar <3

Hi Ermis, I'm badly looking for the NT version of this guitar and now that ESP don't make NT ones it's hard to find one. If you ever think of upgrading and selling the NT do let me know. Thank you so much!

Is it possible to get any info on how far into the body the neck goes on these?

Hi Philip, This has our traditional Set Thru joint, so the neck extends into the neck pickup route area, but does not extend further than that. Hope that helps and should you need any further assistance please contact our customer service team at [email protected]
