Today, he graduates as UMaT’s Best Mathematics Student of the 2025 Class. His journey was paved with resilience. After losing a Pharmacy admission due to finances, he entered UMaT to study Mathematics. The struggle was real—until the GNPC Foundation Scholarship changed everything. “It didn’t just pay my fees—it gave me peace,” Ofori says. That peace carried him through the heartbreaking loss of both parents during his studies. As the eldest child, he leaned on GNPC’s support to stay in school, support his siblings, and keep his promise to his mother.   GNPC FOUNDATION & DTI JOIN FORCES TO EMPOWER YOUTH THROUGH TVET The GNPC Foundation does not consider itself to be a charity. It strongly believes that its interventions are an investment in people, communities and their future. Forging strategic partnerships to execute its mandate is a big part of the Foundation's core values. Ms. Helga JM Boadi, Executive Director of the Foundation engaged the management team of the Design and Technology Institute (DTI) led by Constance Swaniker, Founder and President, Mohit Sharma, Project Coordinator and Akosua K Darkwa, Head, Sustainability, Partnerships and Alumni Relationships to initiate discussions on a partnership that will see youth being trained in TVET programmes, an integral part of our economy.
