You should ask for 30% on your base and it’s very likely you will get it. Though I would suggest present them your numbers and then ask them to make an offer and proceed from there; so that you don’t ask something which would be lower than what they would be happy to offer.

Depends on whether you want to join GS or the company with competing offer. If you want to join GS, present it else use GS offer to negotiate with the other company. Present your best offer to GS and ask them to make an offer, no need to provide a number. Let them present their offer and then negotiate from there. From my personal experience GS does make a good offer. I had got a 30% hike on base and extra annual bonus on top of it.
