V28-0780
  • ◆ Crankshaft not at TDC.
  • ‒ Position toothed belt on crankshaft and intermediate shaft sprockets.
  • ‒ Secure crankshaft V belt pulley with 1 screw (not position).
  • ‒ → Mark on camshaft sprocket must be in alignment with cylinder head cover -arrow-.

Version B

  • ‒ Mark on camshaft sprocket must be in alignment with arrow on toothed belt guard.

V13-0959
  • ‒ → Align marks on pulley and intermediate shaft sprocket (TDC cylinder no. 1).
  • ‒ Place toothed belt on camshaft sprocket.

V13-0790
  • ‒ → Tension toothed belt by turning the tensioning roller in direction of arrow with a nut turner (e.g. Matra V159) or spanner. It should just be possible to turn the toothed belt through 90° with thumb and forefinger at a point midway between the camshaft and intermediate shaft sprockets.
