Biography of Gong Xue
Gong Xue is a Research Fellow of China Programme at S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. She was a Visiting Scholar at Center for China’s Relations with Neighboring Countries of Fudan University (CCRNC Fudan) from October 2017 to December 2017. She achieved Bachelor of Philosophy from Nanjing Normal University in 2009 and Master of Science in Asian Studies from NTY in 2011. In 2017, she achieved Ph.D. from RSIS, NTU and was awarded research scholarship.
Gong Xue’s research interests include China’s Economic Diplomacy, Chinese Overseas Investments, State-Firms relations, China-ASEAN relations, and Chinese Companies Corporate Social Responsibilities. She provides policy briefings for government officials and scholars of many countries including China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and Australia and she is frequently interviewed by various local and international media.
