Similar to recent series GH VIP 6 & GH Dúo, the series retains most of it's staff of presenters. Jorge Javier Vásquez leads the weekly eviction & nomination galas on Thursday nights and the Límite 48H shows on Tuesday nights, with Jordi González returning to front the debate shows on Sunday nights after Sandra Barneda replaced him during GH VIP 6. Lara Álvarez hosts the daily highlights on sister network Cuatro and fronts Última Hora on Wednesday nights on Telecinco.
Twists[]
- Casting: Following the tradition of previous GH VIP installments, some of this season's housemates have all known each other from either previous shows or from their real-life relationships. Alba Carrillo has had public feuds with both Antonio David Flores and Kiko Jiménez. Also, Antonio and Kiko share another connection, as one of Kiko's ex-girlfriends, is Antonio's niece, Gloria Camila. Another connection stems from Adara Molinero and Maestro Joao, who share in common Pol Badía, who is Adara's ex-boyfriend and Maestro Joao's then-boyfriend by the start of the season.
- Replacement Housemate: Pol Badía would enter as a replacement for medically evacuated Nuria Martínez on Day 28 during that day's Límite 48H show.
- Repechage: During the gala of Day 44 shortly before that night's eviction took place, host Jorge Javier Vásquez announced that this season would feature a repechage and a previous housemate would get a second shot in the game. The ones eligible for it were: Anabel, Nuria, Hugo, Dinio, Kiko, Irene & most recently evictee by that point, Cejas. On Day 47, during that night's debate, the pool of 7 was reduced to 3, those former housemates were sent back to the house and the most voted one would then become official housemate once again on Day 51. The Repechage episode would have a Halloween theme.

- Gran Hermano VIP 7 as of its ninth Gala, has the largest average share audience of all VIP seasons, currently standing at 30.3%, this number surpasses GH VIP 3 who held the record at 29.9% (this average just counts the Thursday night main shows, excludes Debate & Límite 48H).
- Nuria was removed from the game after contracting an allergic reaction to peaches, after being sent to the hospital, per statements made by host Jorge Javier Vásquez in a show aired shortly after her removal, she was deemed medically not clear to immediately re-enter.
- For the first time in Gran Hermano Spain history, an ejected housemate, Nuria, was added as an option for the season's repechage vote.
