Greater China Ningbo Port Operations Update - Maersk

August 25, 2021 - Update 6

As reported by Information Office of Ningbo Municipal People’s Government on August 25th, Meishan island facilities has been formally reopened. On the same day, Meishan terminal has resumed operation after two weeks of lockdown restrictions. Your supply chain is always our top priority. Key Highlights

• Ningbo Meishan Island International Container Terminal (MSICT) has resumed operations of container gate-in & gate-out and vessel berthing from Aug 25th.
• Trucking related to empty or laden from/to Meishan port has been gradually reopened from 25th Aug.
• Ningbo Bluedragon LongFei warehouse operation has been resumed from Aug 25th.
• Ningbo Bluedragon LongXing warehouse cargo receiving and operation have been resumed from Aug 25th.

Terminals

Ningbo Meishan Island International Container Terminal (MSICT)

• Operation of container gate-in & gate-out and vessel berthing has been resumed from 25th Aug.

Landside Service

Trucking related to empty or laden from/to Meishan port has been gradually reopened from 25th Aug.

Warehouse

Ningbo Bluedragon LongFei warehouse operation has been resumed from Aug 25th and will be completely back to normal on Sep 1st.

Ningbo Bluedragon LongXing warehouse cargo receiving and operation have been resumed from Aug 25th.

According to Ningbo Meishan Island International Container Terminal (MSICT) announcement, operation of container gate-in and gate-out has been suspended from 11th Aug. Your supply chain is always our top priority. Maersk aims to provide you, as our valued customer, with the most relevant and up-to-date information so that together we can navigate this period of heightened volatility and keep your supply chain moving.

Key Highlights

• MSICT locked down and stopped operations of container gate-in and gate-out from 11th Aug until further notice.
• Vessels which call MSICT started to move to other terminals in Ningbo port.
• 2M vessels mainly call Ningbo Beilun Container Terminal Phase 4 with the waiting time of 2-3 days right now.
• Asia-West Africa vessels call Ningbo-Zhoushan Yongzhou Terminal with the waiting time of 2 days right now.
• Other Ningbo-Zhoushan port’s terminals are operating normally.

Ningbo Meishan Island International Container Terminal (MSICT)

• Operation of container gate-in and gate-out has been suspended from 11th Aug until further notice.
• Vessels which call MSICT started to move to other terminals in Ningbo port.

Ningbo Beilun Container Terminal Phase 4

• 2M vessels mainly call Beilun Terminal Phase 4 with the waiting time of 2-3 days right now.
• Duration of CY open has been reduced to 2 days effective from Aug 12th and remains 3-4 days for a few vessels depending on situation.

Ningbo-Zhoushan Yongzhou Terminal

• Asia-West Africa vessels call Ningbo-Zhoushan Yongzhou Terminal with the waiting time of 2 days right now.
• Duration of CY open has been reduced to 2 days effective from Aug 12th and remains 3-4 days for a few vessels depending on situation.

Other Ningbo-Zhoushan port’s terminals are operating normally.

Vessels

Due to aforementioned disruptions, we regret to inform you that a few vessels including our partners’ vessels have omitted Ningbo in order to protect schedule reliability. Maersk has a VSA service AC6 (AsiaSouth America) at MSICT. Please refer to the contingency plan as outlined below.
