Abstract

A complete group theoretical analysis of vibrational modes of the (Ni(NH3)6)(AB4)2 and (Ni(NH3)6)(AB6)2 type of complexes is made. Interpretation of the Raman and IR spectra of (Ni(NH3)6((ClO4)2, (Ni(NH3)6)(BF4)2 and (Ni(NH3)6)(PF6)2 is made. A critical comparison with results reported by other authors is presented.
