Sep 8, 2013 39 0 10,530 Hello! I just wanna know you personal opinions or experience bout these two cards which im choosing from. Zotac GTX 770 Palit Jetstream 680 The GTX 680 is $60 cheaper here. Thanks :) Solution Actually GTX 770 is bit faster than GTX 680. If you are on tight budget you can go with GTX 680. http://www.hwcompare.com/14636/geforce-gtx-680-vs-geforce-gtx-770/ You will need a good PSU to run the GPU, keep that in mind. GeForce GTX 770 - 42A and a 600W PSU minimum GeForce GTX 680 - 38A and a 550W PSU minimum Sort by date Sort by votes H4X3R

Aug 11, 2013 852 0 19,610 They are basically the same card. The GTX 770 is a little bit better in terms of core clock, memory clock and gpu boost 2.0, but if the gtx 680 is 60$ cheaper go for it as you can OC it yourself and it is based on the same GK104 GPU/chip. Upvote 0 Downvote lonewolf7

Nov 25, 2013 56 0 10,640 what game are you particularly interested in? $60 is a big spread if your on a budget. I have a GTX 770 and love it killer card but for $60 and the right game combo I might pass it up. Also what are the prices and what CPU are you using Upvote 0 Downvote Deus Gladiorum

Jun 29, 2013 1,434 0 19,960 The GTX 770 is a better card. I own a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 770 and it's fantastic, and it performs slightly better than a GTX 680. A GTX 680 is also a fantastic card, but the price of a GTX 770 is usually around $330 while a GTX 680, for whatever reason, is more expensive. UPDATE: In fact, where are you finding these prices? The cheapest GTX 770 I can find is $330 while the cheapest GTX 680 I can find is $350. It's strange, since the GTX 770 is undoubtedly the better performer, but I suppose that's just one of these weird pricing phenomenons. Oh well, here's the cheapest GTX 770 I could find: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CZ7Q028/?tag=pcpapi-20 And here's the cheapest GTX 680 I could find: http://www.superbiiz.com/detail.php?name=ZT-680_2GP&c=CJ Upvote 0 Downvote L

I always felt like it was the sweet spot in processors for the money. I just built a new rig and seriously considered it. Upvote 0 Downvote M

I always felt like it was the sweet spot in processors for the money. I just built a new rig and seriously considered it. It's not that great. It bottlenecks me on certain games, quite a bit. I should've spent another $30 for an FX-8320 instead, and then just overclocked that. It's not the greatest of CPUs at all, and don't let people try to tell you that overclocking will try to solve your woes, because it won't. At most I get another 4 - 8 fps on my minimum, but considering that my minimum prior to that was 30 fps for Borderlands 2 and 24 fps for Crysis 1, it's not that great a difference at all. On Skyrim my minimum is like 45. Still playable, but the drops are superbly annoying. Upvote 0 Downvote B

I can only afford to buy from another user/person who upgrades and disposes theyre old card. Its too pricey here in the Philippines almost a $100 additional 🙁 I earned the money from my birthday and early xmas gifts. So i want to pick where my money goes best. Upvote 0 Downvote B
