Guide Index Overview Introduction Hamachi setup Creating a server and play on it Connecting(for your friends) Final Comments Introduction Ok so before we start you will need the following programs: Synergy Hamachi Half Life 2 And of course any game you want to play it coop and it is compatible for synergy(ex:Minerva,hl 2 series,etc). Hamachi setup Ok so after you download Hamachi,Synergy and Half Life 2 ,you will need to setup Hamachi.Here's how:1.Open Hamachi and press the power button to connect.2.It will ask you to sign up or log in(if you already have an account skip the next step).3.So if you don't have an account here is how to create one:you press the Sign Up button and it will open a new window where you will need to create a Network ID(for example:testing1234),and a password(just create an easy and a short one:1234aa or something like that).4.After you log in it will automacly start with the network you created(if it's not connecting just press the power button again and it will work or restart hamachi).It will ask you to Create a new network or Join an existing network,here are 2 things to keep in mind:-if you didn't create a network yet,you press the Create a new network button and create one just like the step above,-your friends must connect to you by pressing the Join an existing network after creating their own network.5.When you are good to go with the network and the connecting stuff,you need to remember the next things:

• what i marked with yellow represents your IPv4 address-this is actually the most important thing for your friends,they will need to copy this one(i will show you later).
• what i marked with black represents a green dot that shows you if you are online or offline in hamachi(if the dot is grey that means you are offline,if the dot is green that means you are online)
• what i marked with red represents your network id that you created it earlier
• what i marked with blue represents how many people are connected to your network

6.Ok so those are the steps about hamachi setup,now i will explain you about that Ipv4 address,which i spoked in the previous step.So actually with this ip address your friends will connect to your game.What they are going to do is that they will open hamachi and copy your ipv4 address,like this:-they will connect to your network(just press the network button and press Join an existing network(you will need to give them the network id and the password in order to work)-when they are connected they must right click on your name and press Copy IPv4 address.That's all with the hamachi setup part. Creating a server and play on it Ok so we reach the part where you will be able to create a server.Open Synergy and follow me:1.So you opened Synergy,now the first thing that you need to do is to enable the console,here's how to enable it if you don't know(if you already know or already did it skip the following explication).

• Press the Options button
• It will open a window with all the settings in the game(controls,audio,video all of this stuff).Make sure you are on the Keyboard section and press Advanced
• Now just press the check button and then Ok
• After that you can use the console,press the ` button(it's below the ESC button)to open it.

2.*OPTIONAL*-This part is about selecting your player model in Synergy,if you don't want to select one just skip this part.Ok so what you need to do is to open the Player Model and select the character that you want to play with.When you are done,press Select Model]/b] and you are good to go.3.Now let's create a server,here's how:

• So first press Create Server
• It will open a window who will look like the image below.What i marked with red represents the game and it's maps below.What i marked with blue represents the Advanced button(just some things like anti-rush and this stuff,just let them on default),and the green dots represents the name of your server,password(if you create one),slots(how many players you want on your server),port,the internet connection and the difficulty.
• Now let's select for example the first map from Half Life 2,the intro part with Gman and the train,you know.After you select the map press Ok and it will load the map.
• When the loading is finished,just wait for your friends to connect.

Connecting(for your friends) Ok so after you create a server,your friends will need to do some little things to connect to your server:1.So the first step:they will need to open the console(press ` to activate it)2.Remember that IPv4 address from hamachi?Yea so they will need your ipv4 address now.So if they didn't get it,they should get it now.3.Ok so they will need to type in the console like this:connect and your ipv4 address from hamachi(for example:connect 25.57.42.10(just an example for the ipv4).After that just press the Enter button or click on Submit and they are good to go,they will connect to your game.
