What is your greatest strength?

• The best way to respond to this question is to describe the skills and experience that directly correlate with the job you are applying for. With this in mind, review the job description and reassure the interviewer that you have the expertise and skills to do the job.

What is your greatest weakness?

Do not deny you have a weakness or state strengths as a weakness (I am a perfectionist or work too hard and neglect my friends and family).  Describe a weakness not required for the job and state that as your weakness.

When you state your weakness make sure you say what you are doing to overcome that weakness. For example, I have a fear of public speaking and enrolled in a public speaking class to overcome my fear.

How will you deal with an upset customer?

If it is the product, I will offer to replace it or provide a refund if it meets the criteria in H&M’s return policy. If the customer is upset because they cannot find a particular product, I will find it for them and not just point them in a general direction. Finally, I believe it is important for the customer to leave happy because an unhappy customer will never return.”

• If going to college or university state what you will be doing after you finish.
