H2V

H2V, a pioneer in this field, has been working since 2016 to produce green hydrogen for two urgently decarbonization purposes:

Industry: Replacing gray hydrogen, currently used by refineries and the chemical sector (which emits 10 tons of CO2 for every ton produced).
Heavy-duty vehicles: Powering heavy mobility such as trucks, buses, or garbage trucks (which need to move away from internal combustion engines).

H2V has chosen to focus on mass production to optimize production costs and develop a network of service stations (providing hydrogen and electric charging) to supply the entire territory.

H2V is developing gigafactories for green hydrogen production in France and Europe. We are already present in Dunkirk, Fos Marseille, Thionville, Valenciennes, Saint-Clair-du-Rhône, Pont-sur-Seine, and Portes du Tarn. Our ambition is to also establish a presence in Rouen, Nantes, Fessenheim, Ghent, and Port-Jérôme. We have also launched operations in the United Kingdom and aim to expand to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco.

A first in France, in Normandy and Hauts-de-France, H2V has achieved two significant milestones. After securing the land and the 225kV electrical connection, our teams have designed the gigafactory, conducted technical and environmental studies, as well as the public consultation and inquiry.
