⚙️𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 – 𝐞𝐒𝐀𝐅 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐬 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐔 𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬. [𝐹𝑟𝑒𝑛𝑐ℎ 𝑣𝑒𝑟𝑠𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑛 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑒𝑛𝑡] On 5 November, the European Commission unveiled its 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 (𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐏) – a major initiative to 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬  for 𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐰-𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐛𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥 production projects. The 3 elements that should be remembered for the eSAF sector: ✅ 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Europe confirms the application of mandates for the incorporation of synthetic aviation fuel from 2030 ✅ 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦: The implementation of a market intermediary mechanism in the form of a double pilot auction of €500 million in 2026 with voluntary member countries, then at the European level in the following years. ✅ 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬: The targeting of existing subsidy mechanisms (Innovation Fund, Hydrogen Bank, Invest EU, etc.) towards sustainable fuel production projects.   👉 This is excellent news for the entire sector, which needs strong support more than ever to achieve the ambitious goals of 𝐑𝐞𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐄𝐔 𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟎. At H4 Marseille Fos, we will of course be there for these next financing actions. And we already have 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 to share: our project recently obtained the 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 🎉 This label, awarded by the European Commission, distinguishes 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 with high potential for innovation and contribution to 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐭𝐲. The 𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐏 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 is: ✅ European recognition for the most innovative projects; ✅ Easier access to EU funding; ✅ A powerful lever for attracting public and private investment. This distinction marks a key milestone for H4 Marseille Fos.
