fkystreet F 0-60 and quarter mile guestimates? #1 · Dec 6, 2013 0-60 and quarter mile guestimates? Sort by Oldest first Oldest first Newest first Most reactions #2 · Dec 6, 2013 3.3 seconds is what i heard it will do, i'm still going to wait on official figures and real world numbers #3 · Feb 22, 2014 3.3 secs sounds too fast to be true , the top speed as per an indian auto journal is 150kmph (approx 90mph) . The 883cc motors from harley tops out at 165kmph and has a 0-60 definitely well in excess of 3.3 . #4 · Feb 23, 2014 yea 3.3 sounds too fast. i doubt it. #5 · Mar 24, 2014 CycleWorld magazine just tested the Street 750 and here are their numbers: Using our VBox data logger, we measured the Street 750’s acceleration and braking. It’s quick. The Street hits 60 mph in 4.6 seconds, and streaks though the quarter-mile in an impressive 13.69 seconds at 93.8 mph. The Star Bolt, for the record, does the quarter in 13.78 sec. at 93.5 mph, whereas Honda’s NC700X clocks in at 13.86/94.2. But how does the Street compare with the 883 Iron? The Street squashes that Sportster, which has a best pass of 14.53/90.8 mph. 2015 Harley-Davidson Street 750- First Ride Review- Photos- Dyno- Specs #6 · Mar 24, 2014 thanks for posting that. good to see this info, numbers look good to me. 1 Reply #7 · Mar 25, 2014 I am shocked seeing 58hp power in Cycle World dyno test, very impressed #8 · Mar 25, 2014 Same here, good numbers. 58hp of epic fun 0 Reply #10 · Mar 25, 2014 I wonder if one can bore it to 800 cc and coax as much power out of it as a BMW F800GT makes? That is my own benchmark for a light two cylinder bike. Before you laugh, for the price difference between a Street 500 and an F800, I can buy a big bore kit, a lot of head work, cams and the suspension and wheels I want and not overspend what a stock F800 costs. #11 · Mar 26, 2014 GS or GT? Would it not be cheaper and less work to start with a Street 750 and go from there? Show more replies 0 Reply #13 · Mar 28, 2014 can you really get a bore kit, cams, and some sort of head work for $1000? #14 · Mar 28, 2014 You still don't get it. Sigh. If the plan is to build a big bore version of a Street, say an 800 cc or 900 cc version, it is less costly to start this project with a 500 that it is to start the project with a 750. Both the 500 and 750 are mechanically identical other than cylinder bore. The end product will be an 800 let's say, so why start with the more expensive 750 when you are going to throw away the cylinders, pistons and rings anyway? Start with the cheaper 500 and save yourself a grand up front. Does that make sense now? Show more replies 0 Reply #16 · Aug 5, 2024 Actually tested this myself, I own a street 750 and my wife drives a Tesla. The 0-60 is honestly faster on a Harley 750 than the tesla. I usually get to 60 in about 3-4seconds. Easily top speed is little over 110mph. #17 · Aug 5, 2024 3 to 4 seconds? Twist the thingy on the right harder mate it's capable of doing that quicker. Also.... Art Poster Cg artwork Darkness Illustration Show more replies 0 Reply #20 · Aug 6, 2024 What caught my eye when I purchased my 750 was the original dyno graph. Yes, it could rev up to 8,500 but after 7,800 the top of the curve had been reached and the line was going down. My WOW moment was the torque curve, it followed the HP line up on revs to 4,000 and then hit a tabletop and was almost a straight line right to the end of the recording. So, before half revs you were already at max torque and that suited my riding style. I never saw any dyno graphs for the XG750A so I can only write about the Street. #21 · Aug 6, 2024 As far as I can tell the only difference between the XG750 and XG750A is the body trims like fender etc. Oh and the horrible foot controls on the A. 0 Reply #22 · Aug 7, 2024 Not quite. The XG750A has a dual intake manifold, improving breathing and the rev limit is set up to 9,000 rpm. There is also a larger rolling diameter rear wheel, which will change the gearing slightly. But the basics of the engine is the same, as will be the torque curves I suspect. #23 · Aug 7, 2024 That aside, it's still got an ugly butt! 0 Reply Insert Quotes Post Reply
