Design: Leif Jørgensen

HAY's Loop Stand table is part of a minimalist yet distinctive furniture collection designed by Leif Jørgensen. The white Loop Stand table comprises a coated plywood tabletop with sloping trestle legs.

Leif Jørgensen designed the Loop Stand collection originally for the Storm store in Copenhagen. The Loop Stand range is based on the modern, three-legged version of a traditional trestle. Thanks to the simple and elegant design, the Loop Stand collection is suitable for a wide range of spaces.

Leif Jørgensen

The Danish architect Leif Jørgensen is especially known for furnishing the Diesel brand stores in Scandinavia. Nowadays he mainly cooperates with Hay, to whom he has designed the Loop-series among other things. Jørgensens work is characterized by coincidence of design and architecture. He thinks that the meaning of an object depends on its context. Jørgensen works with organic forms with an underlying sense for geometry.

Founded in 2002, HAY is a Danish design company where playful innovation meets bold form and high-quality industrial production. HAY’s furniture, lighting, and home accessories are created to bring timeless, effortless design into everyday life – beautifully functional pieces that any fan of Nordic aesthetics can enjoy.
