Information concerning the documentation that must be submitted to the SADMERC for a Coding Verification Review can be found on the SADMERC web site or by contacting the SADMERC. A Product Classification List with devices which have received a coding verification determination can be found on the SADMERC web site. Manufacturers and suppliers should refer to the SADMERC web site or contact the SADMERC for information concerning testing requirements. If a power mobility device has not received a written coding verification determination from the SADMERC or if the SADMERC determines that the product does not meet the requirements of any code, it must be billed with code K0899.
