HELP: Need Best Prescription Lenses for Valve Index Hi everybody, I have heard some people are happy with prescription lenses that fit into their VR headsets, and I've been looking around to see if I can find some good ones for me.Here are the different websites I'm looking at so far:VR Lens Labhttps://vr-lens-lab.com/product/valve-index-lens-inserts/Widmo:https://widmovr.com/product/valve-index-prescription-lens-adapters/VR Optician, recommended by MRTVhttps://vroptician.com/prescription-lens-inserts/valve-index/So it looks like I have a few options there, but all of them seem like they will reduce FOV to varying amounts, with the VR Lens Lab seeming to do this the least, unless I'm mistaken. However, I have seen comments in other forums in which users complained that the VR Lens Lab creates visual distortions that make playing with them in virtual reality problematic. However, those comments were for a different VR headset and were written about 3 years ago, so the company may have fixed this issue, and they say on their website that their lenses won't distort the image.Does anyone have any experience using these lenses with a Valve Index virtual reality device, and if so, can you comment on how it worked out for you, how it affected the FOV (if at all), etc? Or, do you have any information about another prescription VR lens provider that you think is possibly better than these options? Here is MRTV's reporting on this:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eF0pxKy0W6sAnyone have any suggestions or personal experience using any of these? Did anyone have a good experience or a bad experience with these lenses? < > Mostrando 1-7 de 7 comentarios Toba Ver perfil Ver mensajes 4 AGO 2020 a las 8:37 p. m. There also vrmust which claims 0 impact on fov. Not sure where you heard prescription lenses reduces fov? It depends on your ipd and headshape. Also without glasses you can bring it closer to your eyes.Voptician takes 4-5 weeks to produce. I would go with the other ones. Lens lab the issue was back in 2016. I know a few people that don't have any issues. Última edición por Toba; 4 AGO 2020 a las 8:48 p. m. #1 temps Ver perfil Ver mensajes 5 AGO 2020 a las 3:59 p. m. Some of the websites say the lenses reduce FOV a bit, if for no other reason than that you can't put the Valve Index lenses as close to your eyes when you have the prescription lenses on them. And just looking at it visually, the amount of lens you can see when you put the prescription inserts in is smaller, so it would seem FOV must be lower.

And you're sure they got prescription lenses, not non-prescription lens covers from VR Lens Lab... right? Última edición por temps; 5 AGO 2020 a las 4:01 p. m. #2 Toba Ver perfil Ver mensajes 5 AGO 2020 a las 6:30 p. m.

Are the people who use VR Lens Lab prescription lenses with a VR headset that you know, are they using the lenses with a Valve Index? Or some other VR device? #5 Toba Ver perfil Ver mensajes 8 AGO 2020 a las 12:09 a. m.
