Cha Yu-Ri (Kim Tae-Hee) has been a ghost since she died 5 years ago. She left behind her husband Jo Kang-Hwa and their child. To become a human again, Cha Yu-Ri carries out a reincarnation project for 49 days.
Meanwhile, Jo Kang-Hwa (Lee Kyoo-Hyung) works as a chest surgeon. He was loving, but, after his wife died, his personality changed. After 5 years, his wife Cha Yu-Ri reappears in front of him.

Oct 06 2024 3:51 pm I was borderline between a thumbs up and a thumbs down on Netflix for this KDrama. I was really enjoying it, and I really liked Kim Tae-Hee and Go Bo-Gyeol. I couldn't get his Prison Playbook character out of my mind in regards to Lee Kyoo-Hyung, but he was good as well. I also want to mention Kang Yeon-Jung, who really stood out to me in a more minor role.
It's an enjoyable show, but it strays into the tear jerker moments more and more as the show progresses. There's some filler in it, but the real negative was that the show comes almost to a complete halt after the 14th episode, iirc. The 15th episode was excruciating to watch. There's even a point where there's no sound, music, dialog, or background noises, and it continues into the next scenes with hollow dialogue without ambiance. It took a dozen attempts to watch this episode, in 5 minutes spurts. The 16th episode is similar, at the beginning.
I think a lot of people just give up on this show and just move on, without commenting here.
I really did like Kim Tae-Hee and Go Bo-Gyeol.

Jan 24 2024 10:53 am I kinda hesitant to watch this drama coz many says it's very sad, until I finally give it a try. the first 8 episodes were light, funny and enjoyable to watch come epi 9 the drama unfolded and the never ending crying every 10 mins until it finishes. overall its a nice drama 8/10.
Nov 22 2023 8:29 am Most of the episodes were frustrating and heart wrenching but at the same time this drama's still heart warming. Regardless of the lacking and plot holes, there were still lots of lessons that we get to learn from it. But yeah, I agree with the previous comment here about the 49 days scam.

Aug 29 2023 4:11 pm If I was the biological mother of course I would also want my child and husband back. But the step mom though, I felt sorry for her more than anyone. In real life that would have sucked big time. This is why marrying people who lost their 1st loves is a no no for me. Being second best aish...the biological mother should have just returned and taken her place so step mom can go find her true love as well...i have mixed feelings because it was just sad for every character...The ending is realistic but aish the step mom deserved better.
May 05 2023 7:06 pm Oh look it's Kim Tae Hee that every other drama keep referencing her as the beauty standard which to this day I don't understand why they keep drawing parallels to her specifically. Anyway, when it comes to inevitable death in drama I mostly prefer stories that take the terminal illness route over the "49 days" scam. Terminal illness stories can bring more raw emotions meanwhile 49-days stories lack in that regard, mainly because their death is an unchangeable fact regardless if the people associated with them moved on/still in pain/still mourning/still have regrets or not.
It's still a "decent" drama, just like most of the other sad ones. They always work because we're silly little humans who like to sympathize. It's a lighter and more casual drama compared to others like it. Which is why there was less investment than usual in the characters and less focus on the characters that matter in general. This is clearly shown by how they attempted to prolong the drama, one example being the female lead started helping/observing other ghosts/spirits. Was that really needed? The lack of directional focus is its biggest problem. The concept of 49-days is a bit loose here, the concept itself seems to vague to the characters until it was told to them blatantly which is weird because isn't it part of Korean culture/tradition in funerals? Overall, not that good not that bad, just okay.

The music, the camera, you can watch it over and over and it's the same every time... amazing, just amazing. One of the best moments in all kdramas. Aug 29 2022 9:06 am I cried the most in the 'what if' scene. That's too sad, I always kept thinking : "that's right, what if she didn't get an accident? What if they take care of their daughter together? " But it felt even hurt more since I know that would never happen.

Jun 29 2022 7:38 am Didn't expect to love this drama as much as I do now. I honeslty cried in almost every episode, when someone cried, I cried as well. And the bond Yuri has created with the poeple around her just seemed so special for me, from her parents, close friends, friends, daughter, husband, to all of them, even though it just looked like an ordinary form of friendship and love. The actors did such an amazing job in their roles too, I felt every heart-breaking and heart-warming scene in each episode.

Dec 17 2021 2:31 pm the acting is pure excellence in this, not just the main actors but really every supporting character as well. everyone portrayed the emotions so well!!! why did i never gave this drama a chance before (even tho i kept getting recommendations on netflix for sooooo long lol), but great i gave it a shot. i wasn't dissapointed at all! love how comedy and sadness/drama can work so well, i laughed 1 minute and the next i cried like crazy haha. great great drama!! totally recommend it, didnt even skip much, so this means i liked it a lot

I cried every episode and can't get what this show was trying to tell me out of my head. Loved seeing Oh My Ghost reference early on...then seeing her and her Shaman later in the series was a total joy!!!! Love little easter eggs like that! :-)
Sep 13 2021 6:46 am I knew from the start that I will cry alot. I have seen some spoilers of it on tiktok and I cried. I usually don't like sad kdrama, coz it takes a long time before I can you know recover from the pain. The thing is you can't hate the step mother. She is too nice. This broke the stereotype of stepmother's being evil and bad. In every episode I shed dozens of tears. Tae hee's acting is on point.
This kdrama really is one of the saddest kdrama. They were all victims. There is no evil here.
Guys better watch it. It's worth the tears. It has life lessons too.

May 11 2021 2:02 am i don't understand the 80% rating ugh well this drama made me cry so much and not just about Yuri and Gwang Hwa but the stories behind the other ghost as well. This is a touching drama that was beautifully written.. i just laughed so hard in episodes where Kim Seul Gi and the.female shaman relieving Oh My Ghost moments LOL

Jan 10 2021 8:33 am Nice drama so far. Still on ep 5 though. I would just say though that there was a loophole in the story. There was a flash back on ep 3 or 4??? when Hyun Jung was still pregnant with her baby when Yu ri died, so her mother in law didn't allow her to go to the funeral as it might bring her bad luck. Then another flash back on the last part of ep 4 in a hospital with Hyun Jung already gave birth to their baby while Yu ri was still pregnant and was supposed to give birth the week after. This was confusing. I really hope this would be explained in the later episode otherwise the writer have overlooked this part and created confusion on the viewers.
Dec 19 2020 6:45 am I cant get what happened i just k now that i didnt cry that much since i watched goblin and an anime called clannad story was to good cast were amazing Kim Tae Hee was way to good she reached the cheat lvl in her act way to good to be real Go Bo-Gyeol i noticed that i already watched alot of shows that she is in and she always did an great job story have some drop out but that dosnt matter tbh 10/10
Dec 08 2020 9:47 pm @kuki you skipped watch when ganghwa depressed after yuri death? minjeong like ganghwa since they are in the same university. and minjeong decided to getting along with ganghwa when he look depressed then they loving each other and decide to married. the reason why minjeong want to divorce ganghwa is she said there’s a room in ganghwa’s heart that no ine can open. she know it but after she thinking about it again she said she love him very very deep so she cannot divorce him and decided to live with him and raising seowoo

Minjung & ganghwa were supposed to be in love with each other. But then why did she wanna divorce him out of the blue? And they’re always so awkward between each other. How did they marry so quickly? We need more background story of them.
Can’t let the child see ghosts? Many people can see ghosts anyway and the mother can just teach her to be wise around ghosts so she wont get into trouble. I think thats ridiculous reason to not stay alive. She knew ganghwa would feel terrible again, also her friend & family. Why would she let other people go thru the same pain TWICE? She never even said goodbye to her family again. They just accepted it like that? Mmm k. Weak writing right there.
Also minjung wanted to leave ganghwa but suddenly they stayed together until seowoo grew up that big? What about leaving ganghwa?
Many heartwarming moments of this drama ruined by the logic of the writer. I mean a ghost came back to life thats already not logical what can i expect. If u can just ignore the ending & be happy with the earlier episodes then watch it. To be honest i watched bcs i wanted to cry my heart out but i only cried once during 16 ep.

Also how that loved one would want you to live if they truly cared about you. The fact that they made everyone including his new wife so understanding made it even more heartbreaking when it ended.

After watching this series i just feel sorry to my mom and just realized that not every woman can be a good mother. Also for the acting just superb! I love all of the cast! All the characters are kind in their own way and even no villain needed in this drama but still this drama is completely brilliant. Please everyone who read the comments before watch this series, please dont think any further. Just watch it. And i bet you'll never regret it. Jul 06 2020 6:06 pm I watched this upon finding out that the writer is the same one as Go back couple, and I was not disappointed. I ended up crying every single episode. The ending is predictable, you can tell right away from the title. But every episode, you learn something. There's a prologue and epilogue that not only extends the background of the story, but also teaches us something new every time. That we take things for granted, we never know what tomorrow brings, and we should learn to cherish even the smallest moments. Also, the actors did an amazing job, you could really feel their emotions; prepare lots of tissues.

Jun 24 2020 11:22 am Ganghwa always loved Yuri, and he forever will. But he also loves Minjeong. But you must know that one cannot love 2 different people the same way. Ganghwa and Yuri's love was a happy and passionate one but after her death, it left a scar on him that was very hard for him to heal. And he also felt guilty for remarrying Minjeong which was why I felt that he always had some sort of restraint the way he treated Minjeong. And that's probably why he looked so miserable around her. But Ganghwa always appreciated and loved Minjeong just that both of them are not expressive to each other and Ganghwa finds it difficult to open up to her. You can tell he loves Minjeong when they flashbacked to the time when they met and also when he wanted to chase after her. One of the reasons Ganghwa chose to marry was probably because of Seo woo as well, since he needed someone to take care of Seo woo too.

Everyone did a great job in acting, especially Lee Kyu Hyung *as expected*. He is such a good and versatile actor, I hope he'll get more main roles in the future. Check out his musical performances online, his voice and acting are so amazing. Check him out on Prison Playbook as well, one of the best Korean shows ever.
I can't put into words the actual praises that I want to give him, he's just so good. I think he cried in most HBM episodes and every scene made me so sad.

and it doesn't make sense for someone like yuri, so selfless and a mother who would do anything to protect her child to live and make her child see ghosts for the rest of her life. its just how she is as a person. and yuri herself knows that seeing ghosts is a big deal, as u can see seo woo is already pretty affected by it and people will see her differently. yuri would do anything to protect seo woo and her future, and as much as she wants to live so bad, she just will not sacrifice her child for it.
i agree with some of the comments that some of the ghosts didnt really have proper closure. i wanted to see the girl with specs who committed suicide have some closure for her and her mom. but i really liked the scene where yuri invited pil seung to eat with her family that was cute
i really enjoyed the show, learnt that life is s fragile, the importance of friends and family. the cast was so lovely and perfect, i loved the chemistry between yuri and ganghwa, and yuri with her BFF. lee kyu hyung really caught my attention, i cried whenever he cried, and he really acts with his eyes, he's such a good and versatile actor, can't wait for more of his projects

May 26 2020 7:45 am The last Kdrama that I watched was over a year ago. I got curious about this drama and its Kim Tae Hee going back on screen. Its really a big comeback to her and its vert close to her heart since she was a mom too. I cried a lot at the first half of the drama, I can feel Cha Yu-Ri's feeling about not being able to embrace her own daughter. It taught me a lot of lesson like even you find your true love, when you are meant to die there is nothing you can do. I can feel Cho Gang Hwa's grief too because Cha Yu-Ri was her first love and he imagined himself growing old with her. Everything is perfect but one accident can ruin all you plans.. I will give a perfect 10 for this Kdrama. I hooe Kim Tae Hee will accept more drama roles. I watched My Princess, Yong Pal, and Hi Bye Mama. I am really a fan of her ❤❤

If ever you haven't watch "Oh my ghost", watch it first then this. You'll understand why seeing ghost is a bad thing for seo woo.

But as I continued to watch I got more upset with the direction the show was going... it got to the point where I just couldn't feel anything for the last 3 episodes. From a 85% to a 5% rating.
Cha Yuri literally never told her family that she was going to die in 49 days, but *MAGICALLY* her mother just knew so we skip the heart wrenching talk. Mi Jeong was literally a blank slate for the first half of the series, she looked more like a friend taking care of the kid than anything else. Honestly this series did her dirty, she couldn't act until the latter half for no reason at all. What annoys me even more is that the side characters were all just left hanging or just brushed off. Why did you bother with so many if you weren't going to do anything with them?

Secondly, the story is so touching and sweet it showed a lot of good point about the life of people who lost someone precious some people move on after few years some others can't get them self to be happy because they feel bad for the person who died. I loved minjong's character (the step mom) she loved Seowoo and wanted to be her mom but people stopped her from feeling it. And Yuri giving up on her place because she know how her daughter actually feels.
You guys this is one good drama to cry and think about your life.
BTW can't understand any of the negative comments about the drama. It's not the best but it tells a good story.

It took me "1 week" to watch the last episode coz I know it will break my heart and it's true. A heart wrenching drama. The reason why I lobe this show is first, there is no villain here. Second, I love the friendship between Yuri and Hyun Jung Unnie. Third, I really love Yuri's family! You can see it that they really love Yuri. Fourth, the other stories of the Ghosts. Fifth, the Shaman has a care for them unlike the Exorcist. Hehe. And lastly, Cha Yu Ri's character. She really sacrifice a lot for her Daughter! She really wanted to live but for Seo Woo's sake, she chose to leave again. It so sad that she have to leave her love ones Twice. Like Gang Hwa said, How Can I Let You Go Again? That part really makes me cry. (Tho, I'm crying each episode knowing the stories behind them) We all know that Gang Hwa love them both but in a different way but he loves them whole heartedly. When Yuri had tonsay goodbye to her family, I thought I'm going to cry again. But they make it simple like they playing with Seo Woo all together. I'm expecting a heavy scene but yeah, I'm wrong. The Mother-Daughter scene of Yuri and her Mom says a lot. Her Mother knows she will leave again and again, it breaks my heart on that part.
(Not everyone gives a second chance to finally say goodbye to the loveones. But this drama, it gaves justice. Yuri came back to life to fulfill her "Unfinished Business" which is to finally say goodbye to her loveones.. To tell them not to worry at all coz she's happy and she has no regrets to her decision way back 5 yrs. ago)

But I kept watching it anyway since I knew it would be another tearjerker drama I've been longingly waiting for. Btw, I was watching Prison Playbook and Hi Bye Mama at the same time. I couldn't help but giving thumbs up to the actor who played Cho Gang Hwa here, because in Prison Playbook, his character was totally the opposite. Such an interesting comparison :)

Apr 22 2020 1:19 am A big applause for this wonderful drama. Every character was so endearing, espacially the main leads. There were many people that complained how slow the plot was, but for me the pacing was just right. It’s slow but every moment was poignant. Isn’t our daily lives like that? There are many days that’s uneventful and slow, nothing really much that happened and Hi Bye, Mama was like that. You can’t immediately force something to either end or begin. I also loved that there were no real antagonists. What we witnessed was each characters inner conflict and how they deal with it.
As a huge fan of Kdrama for so many years, I must say that it’s easy to make a viewer’s heart flatter(that’s why romcoms are always a hit), but it’s difficult to give viewers a story that will make them either laugh out loud or cry a bucketful of tears. The show did the latter very, very well. It beautifully and painfully showed how a person go through grief and moving on. There will always be no easy way out. There’s just so so much about this show that I really love and admire. For me, this is a show full of good people.
Kudos to Kim Tae Hee for this beautiful comeback. She really did chose a role that’s close to her heart, being a mother. Lee Kyu Hyung was just the perfect actor to portray Gang Hwa. You can truly feel and symphatize for him. His character has gone through so much and I must say that he’s the only character that remarried that I just can’t hate. KyuHyung really did an excellent job in portraying a grieving husband that you just can’t help but want him to move on and live a happy life. The stepmom and second wife, Oh Min Jeong was just sweet, amazing and dedicated mom. Go Bo Gyeol was truly amazing in here, her every breaking point in the show was just as painful as Yuri’s longing and Gang Hwa’s guilt.
I always have a very high standard when it comes to heartbreaking crying scenes, because I can name a couple of famous actors that just fell short when it comes to crying scenes. That instead of feeling the pain with them, I feel more disconnected and out of place for them. But in this show..... my,my, every crying scene deserve an award for making my poor heart break. Cha Yuri’s journey was just so beautiful but at the same time heart wrenching. This show will always be one of my top dramas :)

You see i’m the kind of person that really dislike sad endings and this drama no doubt really broke my heart. I know throughout the last few episodes that Yuri will leave but I still remained positive till episode 15. Yuri’s mother scene made me cry for 2 hours straight and her bestfriend too. But I’ve got to say both Yuri and Minjeong character is someone that we cannot hate that’s why it’s difficult to choose a non-selfish decision. I also need to praise all the actors for doing an excellent job to portray such a wonderful drama. It seriously teaches us to cherish the loved ones before you regret. 16 episodes, 16 life lessons. This drama might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but they sure be really missing out. Great Job to the director, writer and everyone that had contributed to the drama.

Yes, it was slow at times, but I believe that's because everyone's life was already set in stone--even though time had stopped for them. We have to remember that 5 years has passed since she died. Everyone is trying to move on but feels bad by doing so. They take 2 steps forward, feel bad that they might be forgetting Yu-ri and then take 1 step back. I think the character development comes from how Yu-ri helps everyone to let go of her.
I really liked that Min-jung was a gloomy version of Yu-ri. They have the same thoughts, but different execution. I think that this makes it so Gang-hwa married Min-jung because he saw parts of Yu-ri in her that we don't really see on screen, but notice when we look deep at the details and Yu-ri points this out from time to time too. Hyeon-jung's the cookie cutter unnie character that everyone goes to for advice, but as bad as that sounds, it was executed really well. From watching this through and through, these characters definitely needed a pillar for support.
They could have developed the ghosts more by having Yu-ri solve all of their problems, but I think that all of the ghost's problems were solvable with time--with the exception of Kang Sang Bong who received help from the psychiatrist. The ghosts were more or less waiting for something to happen rather than knowing that they can force something to happen. We had the dad waiting for his daughter to get married, the mom watching her elderly son to pass, the grandma trying to support her sick daughter and the suicidal ghost...well, they didn't really say what she wanted or why she was still there. There really wasn't much Yu-ri could do for them.
I really liked that the deities didn't tell her anything and remained mysterious as deities tend to do. They only gave them a hint that she would have to taken her place back without knowing exactly what her place was. From the beginning, everyone just assumed that her place was as Seo-woo's mom and Gang-hwa's wife. However, we find out that Seo-woo is happiest with Min-jung and sees Min-jung as her mom, so there really is no way for Yu-ri to take her place back as Seo-woo's mom. It really broke my heart every time Min-jung walks into scene and Seo-woo runs to Min-jung with the biggest smile ever--leaving Yu-ri behind looking sad and pitiful. We do find out that her place ends up being there to help her mom move on, and while helping her friends move on, she helps her family move on as well.
I've read other comments saying stuff like, "Why didn't they just tell Seo-woo who her biological mother was?" I mean, some parents don't really tell a child that their mom died right? Some people raise their children in a way that their mom is in a far away place and maybe Min-jung coming into the picture was like her mom coming back from that far away place. Maybe I'm just covering for the drama because I loved it so much and have a bias for it.
I didn't really see the point of introducing the exorcist though...He did speed the story up by revealing the truth about Yu-ri to Gang-hwa and he did force the ghost family to empathize with Yu-ri so we get to see that the ghost family doesn't only care about their son and can actually feel for other people's families too but they could have done that without introducing another character. I mean, everyone who was out of the loop finds out everything by walking into a conversation in the restaurant anyways, so there really was no need for him.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend this drama for anyone who's looking for a tearjerker and would like a drama with a realistic take on a fantasy what-if.

I think the lessons from this kdrama will leave me reflecting on my life for a very long time and to cherish each moment of my life as a gift.
Kim Tae hee, you are awesome as always and also the cast kudos to all of you. I didn't have any episode wherein I was not crying. And after watching the finale, I woke up with my eyes all puffed up because of crying.

I don't usually post drama reviews but this tearjerker drama is worth to share. It's genre is way far from what I usually watch (rom-com & heavy dramas) but I give this drama my two thumbs up.
It is a story of a mother's pure love. A portrayal of life & death, human emotions and relationships. A depiction of friendship, sacrifices and earnest requests. A representation of imperfections, struggles and acceptance. It is a drama full of "It's okay", " It's not your fault", "I'm sorry" and "I want to live".
Blaming yourself for loosing someone who is dear to you? Regretting for not treasuring every significant moment you have shared when he/she was still beside you? Suffering silently, not able to seek for help, because it was hard dealing with farewells and goodbyes? Earnestly wishing for someone to come back again?
These were the emotions portrayed in the drama that gave me a lot of heartaches. Yes, I was in pained from the very first episode until it ended but I happened to enjoy every bit of it because it provided me significant lessons in life.
First, "It's a great joy to give and that you end up feeling sorry if you always receive." This is what the heroine realized after death. It is simply telling us to share our blessings to the people around us. Give time to the people who are dear to you. Treasure every moment and make every little detail significantly beautiful.
Second, "There is no flower in this world that blooms without a meaning. In that place where I bloomed and fell, other flowers of mine were starting to bloom." Always remember that in every sad ending, there will always be a beautiful beginning. Even if you left on a certain road and ended your journey so soon, there will always be someone who will continue your story because you are deeply cherished and loved.
Third, "It's Okay. It's not your fault." People leave unexpectedly & sometimes they do it without giving warnings. It is a cruel & sad reality about life. And if you are still suffering silently because of unexpected and undesirable moments, unable to seek help because you are in fear and blaming yourself thinking it was your fault, let me tell you, " It's Okay. It's Not Your Fault. Life is just inevitable and there are circumstances that we can't control."
Fourth, "We could never possibly find a way to deal with goodbyes." Yes, it is difficult. Yes, you will be having regrets. But, for the sake of the person who left, live life to the fullest. Be thankful because life left you some more time to be better.
Fifth, "I want to see my daughter once more" and "I want to live." These were the earnest wishes of the two pitiful mothers. One who was not given a chance to prepare herself to the real moment of parting and one who died suddenly without having the chance to hold her daughter. Though their wishes were granted, at one point they have to let go. Their roles portrayed what acceptance really means. Being a mother means being strong. And being strong means learning to let go. It is not an easy process but time heals everything. And also, there are things that you can't change because it happened already but there are still a lot of opportunities to be better. Be like the two mothers. You should know when to fight and when to stop.
Lastly, Be Grateful. Be thankful for the gift of life, for the gift friends, for the gift of family.

"Hi" when she goes back to life to spend with her loved ones, "Bye" when she still had to go back dead, "Mama" eventhough a little of time was given, she still spend her time for Seo Woo and even recognize her as her mother at the end (SPOILER alert). Yu Ri is really meant to be dead. Because it was meant for her since the beginning of the story. Although the outside appearance is very fantasy approaching but the inside story is still realistic like the story of the pure love of a mother towards her child. This will be one of my favorite tearjerker drama after uncontrollably fond! To those who hesitate to watch this, please do watch! You will never regret watching it. :)

I dk why many ppl againts the ending, but I personally like the ending. I think since the beginning yuri is only supposed to stay only for 49 days, as yuri's mom always have a dream of her daughter is saying goodbye every night. Also if yuri is being greedy with the chance she had, maybe the sky will punish her with not being able to reborn as human because of her greed (?) Just my asumption.....

Apr 20 2020 12:27 am SPOILER This drama gives you the heartwarming and heartwrenching feeling on repeat. I literally ugly cried for the whole series, for the characters really played so well in the series, especially Lee Kyu Hyung as Cho Gang Hwa, wow such intense emotions coming from him when he longs for Yuri. I feel like Yuri is his eternal love and will always be, even minjeong cant even replace yuri's place in his heart. I wish yuri didnt have to leave the world, but in so many ways that i thought of, this has to be the ending, because she was supposed to be dead in the first place... #sigh The story might be slow, i feel like some of the parts are dragged too much but despite that, i think it succeed in delivering the message like to be thankful, and grateful and appreciate others. Highly Recommend!

Although the ending was not I wished it to be, I thought that it was the most logical way to finish the drama. I do not regret watching this even though each episode got me in tears. Kim Tae Hee, Kyu Hyung, Go Bo Gyeol portrayed their roles very well. This is a memorable drama for me. Annyeong, Hi Bye Mama!

Apr 19 2020 10:26 pm Highly recommended. A sad story indeed but it makes you think of your life and to appreciate people around you. Once they gone, you will have regret for a lifetime. But if gou get a chance to see them again, im sure you would give the best you can to each other. All the casts are so good. Cannot move on???. Too good not to watch. A family's love is forever. Sincere love.

The second lead character was great n she deserves to b happy..am glad she is not evil n u can connect to her, she raised the baby for years ,a mother isn't just someone who gives birth... I like it that they stick to reality life goes on and people get remarried n become happy again.. We are meant to die that's what makes life meaningful..... Kudos to the entire cast

Apr 19 2020 9:16 pm Finished the drama today.. what can I say. It's a good drama - right between worst and best. Would I recommend this drama to people? In honesty, probably not. Why? Because the drama will 100% guarantee make you cry every episode if not every most likely every other episode. Kim Tae Hee and Lee Kyu Hyung's acting pretty much saved the drama from being a complete flop due to some minor inconsistencies/plot holes from the writers.They emulate such intense emotions so beautifully and they did an amazing job. Just a heads up, once you are episodes in you will know exactly how the ending will be like (By looking at things realistically).
Overall the drama each episode gives you like "tips" or "advice" about life, which I thought was a nice little touch they threw in there. The story was slow and some parts were dragged out longer than it should have but that's something that's in mostly every drama. I was looking for a good follow-up show after CLOY ended and I wouldn't say this was it. So if you are going through something tough, have free time, and want to cry or balls your eyes out even more to forget about your current dilemma give Hi Bye Mama a shot. If not you can definitely skip it

Apr 19 2020 8:09 pm Spewing away from the typical romance story of kdramas, this drama displayed the love that is most familiar for most of us. A mother's eternal love <3 The ending is a masterpiece (although opinions will vary I don't care) it makes us face the reality of life and the inevitable (ok will not spoil the ending). This is a must watch kdrama along with Go back couple which is also written by the same writer.
Kim Tae hee pulled off one of the best acting I've ever watched. How can you be sad and happy at the same time? The cast was great up until the end. I hope that you bag some awards I'd be disappointed If you didn't. Fighting!

I know it is not fair , but I hate their pair.both of them used to be my favourite characters , but from right now I won't see any of their dramas

I agree that the plot is a little bit slow, and *spoiler alert* the reason why Yuri decided to "go back" is actually not a big deal.
But then I just can't complain because I think that's just perfect ending. I just satisfied with it. Yuri leaving with no regret, and everyone will no longer sad whenever Yuri comes to their mind.
And also the story gave us many life lesson. How we should grateful for what we had, how we should live happily, live at the fullest. They also show us how family mean the most to everyone lives.
I literally cried in every episodes. I also cried until its credit scenes at their final episode, because it was really beautiful drama and sad at the sametime because it's over.

As the drama progressed I was worried and uncertain of how the writer would draw the ending but now that it’s finished, I’m satisfied with how everything turned out.
Also if anyone’s wondering, the girl who played grownup Seo Woo is Park Jungyeon. This drama marks her first drama acting debut, she’s from Keyeast, one of the biggest actor companies in SK. She was previously revealed to be an SM Entertainment trainee but she has now signed as an actor. Good luck with your career and I hope to see more of your work!

Even when you grew old, there will be times specially when life gets hard that you will look and call for your mom. There are things that only your mom can understand and can give you the comfort that you need..
I love this drama, it taught us a lot of things about life and how to live every moment without any regrets.. Good Job Lee Kyu Hyung and Kim Tae Hee and for all the staff of this drama.. Hi Mama
Apr 19 2020 11:59 am This drama has a great concept, a woman coming back to life and facing the true reality that after 5 years her place is no longer held within her family. However, it drug for me.... I am not sure if it was the casting, or how the character was written.... But Oh Min-Jung comes off extremely cold. Her presence on screen even when laughing (to the bitter end) was sad, but not because her overall character was likable, and she has something to lose. On the contrary you feel pity for her because she is so darn flat.
Our main protagonist is loved both in life and after life, and she is the best part of the show. For her alone I would recommend the story. The side stories are boring, drawn out, and takes too much time. Our main male lead's relationship with his new wife seems forced at times (most of the time honestly) when it should not be. There was no connection, even before the protagonist showed up. The ending was harsh, but in my opinion it would have been justified if there was some kind of redemption to be had.Our main leads carry the story. The show became worth watching when they were on screen. However when they weren't, the drama's weak points peaked through like a red bra under a white blouse. It was bitter for me because I saw no growth in any of the characters besides our leads and the mother. There are well over a half dozen side stories, so there is a lot of filler. Overall I wouldn't rewatch this 4/10 or recommend it.

Apr 19 2020 10:19 am SPOILERS! the ending can be more rational than this actually. then what if seowoo can see ghost in her life? at least her mom and dad are on her side. i think the writer took easy on Ganghwa's heart. she never once considered Ganghwa's heart and emotion and keep on torturing him, even until the last episode. and the ending when Gangwha sincerely let Yuri go, if we place that on real life, I think no one can endure the pain letting go someone you dearly love twice in your life. 3/10 for the script.
Apr 19 2020 10:12 am I don’t understand why people invest so much money in a production of a drama and accept such poor writing. The story is crazily annoying. They tried their best to not have any chemistry or romance between the leads: fair enough Tae hee is married hence the low romance intensity but this drama lacked depth.
I was simply waiting till the end to see the predictable unnecessary tear jerker end. They could have made this more interesting instead they made it draggy and boring. The actors tried their best though so well done on that.

Im constantly bitting my lips to hold my tears watching the last eps but i failed. It's a happy ending in my opinion, because there is no one felt sorry or pity for Yuri anymore. This is the ending that i prayed for. Well Done. This drama totally worth to watch :')
Apr 19 2020 9:47 am ... well moreless, that was the finale i was assuming they'd make. i knew it was going to be a tearjerker. that last scene with Yuri, and Seo Woo.*sighs* the series had great writing, but it started to get agitating about half way through. way too much crying, apologizing, denial, and communication problems. i'm glad it's over, but i'm also glad i watched it.

Seo-Woo would probably be told the story of Yu-Ri’s sacrifices for her and would wish to have a say in this.

Apr 18 2020 7:37 pm After last night’s episode, the title “Hi, Bye Mama” finally made total sense to me now: It wasn’t actually about Yuri being recognised as Seo Woo’s mum. It was about Yuri finding her way back to her mother and finally saying her proper “goodbye”. As we saw in Ep15, Yuri came back to life not because she cursed the dieties — Yuri came back to life because her mum fervently prayed to see her daughter once again. Reality is, Yuri’s mum was still in total denial of Yuri’s death. No matter how much she hides it from everyone else, Yuri’s mum still cannot let Yuri go (after all the years that passed), because she was never really able to say “goodbye” to her beloved daughter. Yuri’s mother was somehow full of regrets and guilt feelings. I’m looking at a tearful and heartbreaking ending.? Something most (including myself) have expected but refuse to accept.? Truly, this drama is one of the best we’ve had - it brings about warmth in the heart and so many life lessons.
I could not recall the last time I cried so hard over a drama series before this one. This drama just gets you right in the feels!!???

I fear Yu-ri might lose her Mother to save them both but then that's not fair on her Father. You just can't win with this drama. But it's so damn addictive. Looking forward to how this all plays out on the last episode.

Or it depends on the writer :). He or she will decide their fate.. we will see later and tomorrow. I agree gangwha needs help.. actually he already seeing a psychiatrist based on the few episodes though..
Apr 17 2020 8:18 pm @Flyingv, marriage is not easy. I’m divorced lol. Yes, they do love each other, but that love is not being reciprocated equally enough for the whole marriage to last. He is suffering which causes her to suffer, and this has been going on for YEARS even before Yu-Ri came back. All I am saying is that she can thrive without him and maybe find happiness with someone else. Yes, she’s an excellent step-mom, and she can still be even when divorced. It’s co-parenting. Also, I actually do like Ganghwa, but he needs medical help - a therapist. Well this weekend will be the finale, so hopefully a decent ending for all characters!

I dont think she is completely unhappy sure she is struggling but she loves her husband and its more than enough to stay in marriage. She also loves her daughter Seowoo. They may not be blood related but in her heart she is her daughter and seowoo loves her back. So is gangwha.. there love maybe mot exciting and boring but is true..

There were scenes of her laughing at work before marrying Ganghwa, but after that it seems like she lost her spark. I feel like Ganghwa and Minjung did love each other and got married, but after that their marriage seems so dead. like they're still together due to obligation and not really love. Ganghwa never moved on from Yuri, and I don't think he can ever if she leaves for the second time. Minjung is better off finding someone who will love her and bring the best out of her. If I was Minjung I would rather be single honestly.

Yes I agree that is heartfelt and the whole theme of life going on but the drama has a lot of directions it should've cleared up. In my opinion, they should've done more with the ghosts and their wishes because they really sidetracked that. What's the point of saying she'll help them with their wishes when she only had so few days left? I liked the stories with the ghosts and think they could've focused more on that
I think the drama is going really slow and needs more movement. Honestly, I'm getting bored and skipping some scenes because it is repetitive.
I think even with a promise of not getting re-married wasn't always guaranteed obviously. The daughter needs a maternal role model in her life and at the point, he needed someone to depend on because he was so devastated.
His new wife has always been there for him and has had eyes on him ever since, she was even there at the birth of his daughter no?

Apr 15 2020 5:02 pm Are (most) people not paying attention to the drama, the scenes, the dialogues, the episode names, the epilogues..... like it's all there. The drama is clearly talking about how life goes on, people have to move on even if they don't want to... life in general. Min-Jeong isn't evil, Gang-hwa n Seo-woo loves her...so Yu-Ri can't get her family back. It clearly isn't that drama where it's gonna be a happy ending for everyone unless Yu-ri finds her right place which is still vague what exactly it meant. I do want her to live too! I just want them to wrap up Pil-seung's storyline properly, I'm pretty sure he can he ghosts too!!

Like seo-woo get a chance to say hi to her mom and spends her time with her mom, but he also has to say goodbye after that because Yu-Ri might be dead again :(. I am afraid aftee all the effort she made it will end up with death, just like how 49 days drama ended. Yet, I will be happy however the ending is because this drama is totally worth watching and has a lot of life lesson which encourage me to appreciate my life more and more ❤
Apr 15 2020 4:03 am I think Gangwha fell in love with Minjung that is why he got married. Even if he feels guilt and regret and even if he loves yuri, he fell in love with minjung. He really did. There is love in their marriage. He did not marry minjung to take care of his kid. She was even working and she was the one that suggested that she quits working. That is why sometimes i feel his love for minjung might not as be as showy as with yuri but it was strong enough for him to overcome guilt and regret. Though he feels guilty again everytime he feels good as per ganghwas psychiatrist.

Everytime I hear the instrumental ost i can feel a lump in my throat and my eyes started bawling out. Gawd I’ve invested too much emotions for this drama this is easily my favorite already.

She wasnt perfect but she did not take for granted anyone. If it will be a reset, it will be at the point after the accident and it will be a choice between her and seo woo. It makes sense more because it will be life for a life. I dont think yuri can take her place back because i agree seo woo wont replace mj for her but if it is the only way and the writers decide to take that path then do it. They keep on showing flashbacks as if its impossible for kangwha to move on. Just let them be together.

She can accept yuri as her mom but she needs time. Even if you give yuri 49 days again it wont be enough. That is why she cant take her place back. I don't know why people hate on her. She deserves to be happy and loved too. I really appreciate that Yuri embolden herself to tell to Ganghwa that she is not his wife anymore, and ask Ganghwa to forgetting about Yuri to be happy with Minjeong and Seowoo. She is not just care about herself (to be with Seowoo for days). I hope happy ending for Yuri's family, Hyunjung, Ganghwa's family, and Yuri, even IF she has to leave.

I really think that Minjung has been a great wife and mother for five years and has been at a disadvantage. She is finally opening up and finally has some friends. She deserves a happy ending with Ganghwa and Seowoo. Now she and Minjung have connected and can be good friends, too. Yuri could fight to not let her mom die for her so that her mom and dad can finally be the loving grandparents they always deserved to be. Then Yuri will be happy to go and everyone gets a chance to say good bye and thank you in a good and loving way. And Ganghwa can get back to work -- he was their best surgeon!

They all suffer a great loss because of her & even though this drama is so chilled compared to others I've seen, i can honestly say they picked a great cast. At this point, I'm just going to assume it's a happy ending & put my hopes on the trailer because i haven't seen that part in the previous episodes. I'm going take a wild guess & say she was somehow given a third chance to relive her life & Min-jeong divorces Gang-hwa knowing she can never open that door to his heart. It's a long shot but i love this drama regardless. 10/10

The love between Ganghwa and Yuri is not like other couples I have seen in dramas. It is indescribable, unconditional and irreplaceable.
I don't think at the end Ganghwa and Yuri will end up together just like typical dramas. They will either make Yuri goes to heaven or Yuri will be given the chance to stay in human world, reuniting with her family. Both Minjeong and her will be SEO woo's mothers.

He still remembers what Yuri said and told him to do (like drying his hair before getting out of the bathroom, eating spicy food and bringing an umbrella), and he felt guilty for not doing it when Yuri was still alive so he's doing all of those now.
And the fact that he doesn't want to get treated of his phobia because that's the only thing that reminds him of what happened to Yuri shows how much he still love Yuri.
The love Yuri and Ganghwa have for each other is indescribable and irreplaceable. My heart hurts for them. But just like what Yuri said, she's not Ganghwa's anymore and he needs to let her go now.
Minjeong deserves to be loved and be Seowoo's mother.
I just hope that there's other way for Yuri to become human again. She doesn't need to be Ganghwa's wife again but just be a mom to Seowoo, a daughter to his mom and dad, a sister to YeonJi and a friend to Hyunjung and Minjeong.

But unlike on the drama we will not be given a chance to go back, once we die. So it inspires me to give more importance to my loved ones, and treasure every moment with them.I thought at first it will be romcom. Also Kim Tae Hee's beauty shine the most, her face is really on a different level. This is my favorite kdrama of 2020 ? I recommend this kdrama, it's a 10/10!

I knew how this would end, but I still like to watch the characters realizing things they didn't before. It made me think about my life too. My only complain is the other ghosts story left unsolved but they kept appearing. If they want to go on that saving ghost route, they shouldn't use ghost who was given a second chance to live, it just felt all over the place.

And all of a sudden turn into gangwha suddenly likes minjung and being happy with her. it seems that yuri is just a hindrance to their happy ending with yuri's child. im really getting frustrated. how can you patch up these, even just seowoo acknowledging yuri to be her mother not minjung! I dont care if gangwha end with minjung. just let YURI be a mother to seowoo.

I'm a total 66 year old emotional mess right now, I couldn't anticipate the plot and sub-plots. I don't know how this ends well for everyone. I do have confidence in the writer(s) though, they have created such a wonderful story and important life lessons, somehow they will pull this off. Can't wait for season 2, there just has to be one. I love all the characters and of course you know I'n in love with Yuri!

It seems some people got stuck with flashbacks or likes the chemistry of the leads and dont care about their CURRENT feelings. I hope yuri lives too but not getting stuck in the past. Yuri cant be selfish because thats not her personality and please lets not ruin her best character.

Working as a doctor and now a frontliner covid19, i really want to watch drama that worth to try after off from work and here it is. I could conclude this is one of the best drama, my top 10?. Really recommended. i really want to praise kim tae hee acting (i am now accustomed to call her cha yuri haha). She did a very good job. There is no episode i did not cry, told ya.

YuRi will save her baby again. Twist is, this time, Kang Hwa will be able to help/save them (or probably only Seo Woo), will accept YuRi’s faith, have no regrets and life will go on with their happy memories with YuRi.
Really hoping for a happy ending.

Mar 23 2020 9:34 am Omg i literally cried on every episode for multiple times in one episode. this drama is so heartwarming and make you feel good and bad (because I am sometimes the ungrateful bij) this drama taught me that the value of someone is only known when he/she is gone and gosh it hurts so bad to see yuri's parents, husband and also the ghosts' relatives mourn. The heartache felt so real. I hope its a good ending!!! pleaseeeeeee be a happy ending :(( i want yuri and ganghwa together agaainnn

Best Kdrama after “Crash Landing on You” and “Oh, My Ghost (2015)” Oh, a surprise cross over event from other drama. Can’t wait to see the outcome of episode 16, Wife and I are wasting a lot more tissues than other Kdrama.

I dont think yuri and her husband will go back together or contiue the way they were. That will be too easy. If yuri stays she should make her own path not stuck in the past. I think she already accepted her death if not for her daughter.

That’s good, he can be with min jung but that doesn’t restrict yu ri from staying alive, being a friend, a daughter and a mom. They all have to come clean. 5 years is a long time, I don’t blame gang hwa for moving on and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with seo woo having two moms.

From episode 10 we can see how much seo woo has progressed with talking since her real mom showed up. Min jung is not a bad person but if she’s that unhappy then she needs to leave because Yu ri doesn’t have that much time.
About yu ri’s mom, I totally understood why she didn’t want to take full care of seo woo. However, why do they have to pretend like they don’t know seo woo. The kid is going to grow up and find out anyways and then she’s going to think her late moms family hates her and think she’s the cause of her moms death.
Everything is so complicated.

She is always gloomy and unhappy esp in front of child that is why seowha is slso gloomy. But once yuri came seowha was more cheerful and happy. Minjung hardly speaks to a child and puts that child to diff activities all evening. She comes home, watches tv and sleep. Cmon normal parents doesnt do that with your child. Yuri shd come back to life and she shd hv her child. no one can love seowha like she does.

Yuri's love for GH is amazing. Yuri knows everyone needs to move on from her death, She understands he have settled down with new love MJ and MJ truly cares for Seowoo. Yuri is contented that GH is happy.

I mean whiceved way we look at it Yuri is dead she may have been brought back to life but it's temporary. I know it's upsetting for Gang hwa to move on and remarry again after only 5 yrs. but just bc Yuri died doesn't mean their world will stop turning. I think Yuri was brought back to life not to end up with Gang hwa but to instead help the people she love finally move on like say Gang hwa he might have remarried but obv he's still not over Yuri bc of the what ifs and bc he blame himself for her death even though it was an accident. Due to that guilt he restricts himself from fully loving Minjeong and perhaps he was also guilty bc he cant accept the fact that he's moved on already and was just in denial as well as it's also a test for Yuri to finally learn how to let go bc the reason she's been hanging around as a ghost was bc she felt like she still need to watch over them and when she finally realized that they are going to be ok w/o her then that's the only time she can go up. I also think the condition of Yuri needing to get back to her rightful place is a bit vague. It doesn't really mean that her place is with Gang hwa's side. Maybe it's just w/her family after all she was a daughter first before a wife or maybe her place is with her daughter's side only but doesn't mean her and GH should be together or maybe her place is really in heaven with God's side... There's a lot of possibilities but for me I love where the story is going right now with her and MJ being friends I'll love it if at the end they just both be a mother to Seo woo bc I don't think it's fair for MJ to be ousted just like that after all she was there when Yuri died she took care of both GH and Seowoo and it wasn't her fault that she came in the picture when Yuri died and I think it will be a cop out if ever MJ either died or be a bad person just so Yuri can get back w/ GH.

After wife dead, husband can easily forget her and remarried again and stop coming to pray on wife death anniversary, but parents will never do that. Children is irreplaceable. Parents will always cry for the children, husband is happy with new wife. So sad for Yuri. Everyday watching her husband is happy with another woman. Just thinking of it make my heart aches. Sorry for bad english btw

Mar 16 2020 12:50 am I am so incredibly disappointed in the progression of this drama. Yuri deserves the world after everything she has been through. She is so kind, selfless, and compassionate. It was not her choice to die so early, it was not her choice to not raise her child, and it was not her choice to leave behind everyone she loves. She is sacrificing her happiness for the happiness of Kang-Hwa. She says that because he is in love with Min Jeong, she could not possibly take back her place. She probably also feels indebted to Min Jeong for raising Seo Woo as her own. Futhermore, despite having limited time, she is going to grant each ghost a favor because she is empathetic toward them. I am so disappointed in the writers for these last couple episodes that indicate both Kang hwa and Seo Woo prefer Min Jeong over Yuri. She is giving up everything she has dreamed of for those two and she is suffering so much in the process. Yuri is being treated like trash as everyone else just sees her as some kind of burden. I honestly do not know what the plot of this drama is anymore. It has been dragging and doesn't seem to be going anywhere. No wonder it has such low ratings. If they don't pick up the pace in the upcoming episodes they are going to lose the few viewers they have. The cast is phenomenal but the storyline is severely lacking.
Mar 15 2020 8:49 pm I think Kang-Hwa loves Min-Jung too, his relationship with Min-Jung is not as crazy as Yu-Ri but I think he does. Yu-Ri and Kang-Hwa fell in love in just 3 seconds and I also think in love time is irrelevant. He can love his ex-wife but fall in love with his current wife. I know this is simple but remember when it rained he remembered Min-Jung and he knew she didn't bring an umbrella and he texted her to know where she is. That's very simple but it is a simple gesture that he loves her. He's a guy and guys can be insensitive but he remembered her. At the same time, Yu-Ri was watching them for the past 5 years so she knows if he really does love her. I hope Yu-Ri stays without taking back her place but creating new destiny. I liked the last 2 episodes compared to last week.

I still have some hope because I think there are types of love and the love he has for Min Jeung is different from the love he had or has with Yu Ri. Also, I notice Kang Hwa is attentive to the needs of his first wife more than his second. I guess we will see
My theory is I think that Yu Ri death changed the flow of fate possibly? Maybe this is why they let her come back because people were not moving on with their lives. I especially feel sorry for Yu Ri's family, life essentially stopped for them when she died. I also wonder about Fate.. was Yu Ri even suppose to meet Kang Hwa? I remember having that thought when Min Jeung did the voiceover about fate and coincidence. I wondered if Kang Hwa was really suppose to be with Min Jeung and Yu Ri was suppose to be with Pil Seung? It was just a theory and how fate changed when they met. I dont know but I do love this drama and believe that its super underrated. Yu Ri character is unbelievably kind and good person. I also hope they show Pil Seung more, his character is cute and funny but I am curious to know how he ties to Yu Ri.

On another note, I dont know why some say that Kang-Hwa doesnt deserve Cha Yu-ri. It's not even confirmed yet that he is in love with Jun Ming. Even if so then what's wrong with that? His wife died in front of her at his hospital, owing to that he tried to give up on his life, trying to give the child to his paternal home. He is still suffering from that truma that's why he cannot perform surgery. He thinks he is a failure. Yu ri's mom refused to take child because she wanted her son in law to love and keep him busy, refraining from having those negative thoughts. We could see from the drama he went through a lot due to the demise of her wife and he still is not completely over. Doesn't he deserve to be happy??? I would not say that's ridiculous if he is in love with Jung Min. It's not like he predicted that Yuri would come back to his life.
Plus when he came to know Yuri came to life, he was shocked and very concerned about her, checking her well-being day and night, worrying whether he will lose her again. This shows how much he still loves her. His situation has made him in a huge dilemma.
Coming to Cha Yuri, yes she is going through a lot because of being in this situation; it's very hurtful to see being not part of her own family despite of coming back to life. She herself understand understand situation very well. She knows the hardships his husband has gone through and do not want to ruin his life more by putting him in a situation which will make him more worse; she just wants to make everything right. It breaks my heart to see her become a ghost and go to heaven in the end.
We just need to see the situation of both of them. I sympathize with both of them.
But on a different note, I highly doubt that he loves min Jung. Had he loved her then he would have been totally a different person. He hasn't made peace with the past yet. Plus you can see the lack of connection between Kang Hwa and Jun Ming. They live a monotonous life, performing only duties as husband and wife would do normally. I honestly don't even see that kind of romance between them.

If you're looking for a drama that is about the love line of the main character well sorry but I guess this is not it. This is something more!
This is about the unconditional love of a mother to her daughter, family and friends. After watching episode 8 tonight, I went here and read some of the comments. I understand a lot of you are getting frustrated by the phasing of the story but I believe these are all necessary for Yu ri's character development. All the situations she's been to were all necessary because it showed her unconditional, if not ethereal, love to the people she left behind. From the way she hid from everyone she loved as to not disturb their lives knowing she'll be leaving again to her accepting that she no longer belongs to Ganghwa.
I know many are frustrated, if not mad, that Ganghwa actually loves Minjeong. They believe that 5 years is too short of a period to find love again, but you know what? he's lucky to have found someone again. Losing the love of your life permanently to death is something that will make you literally insane and I believe love is the only thing that can heal you during those times. I think Ganghwa would have died already if not for Minjeong.
Lastly, I love the friendship between Yuri and Minjeong. When they shared the umbrella they were so cute together. It's somewhat bittersweet but still.
I don't really know how this will end but I really do hope it's a satisfying ending and not an open one.

I feel this drama is like a Slice of Life drama. Not too drama fulled, but it has friendship, family and does show some romance. I can’t wait for more episodes! It may not be others cup of tea, but it sure is mine. I also really hope to see Pil-Seung’s character more, Pleaseeeee! I feel he’s more related to the story more, but I don’t know how it’s going to go. Please Please Please Have His Character More

I’ve been hoping to watch something like this drama that would inspire, reflect on what life is really matter? You life is not your own! It’s belong to your families, to those around you that love and care for you! With the suicidal rate in Korean societies And celebrities, Someone has to step up and show them that death is not a solution. Not everyone Was giving a second chance like the character of Yu-ri.

I am waiting for her character to meet with her family (mom, dad and younger sister) and the romance with Pil-Seung, if there will be, to make her husband jealous. Ms. Kim Mi-Kyung played also the mother of Jang Na-Ra in Go Back Couple, made me cry a river. Seeing her here reminded me of her character there. Waiting for that mom-daughter moment. Hope not in episode 15 or 16.

You see, every decisions they make in the end will be selfish toward either minjeong or yuri character. I feel so bad for ganghwa because there is really nothing he could possibly do to make anything better. Yes, it started off sad. But i’m pretty sure Yuri and Minjeong will start to get greedy over the role of being seowoo mum, eventhough minjeong is considering divorcing ganghwa. i’m just gonna pray it will be a happy ending for both Yuri and Minjeong.

Mar 04 2020 2:02 pm i think the reason why they chose a male actor to play as a daughter is because it has something to do with the story. sometimes, i've seen asian countries go as far as change the name or dress up their child counterpart of their gender (until they become an adult) to avoid bad luck as part of superstition. who knows, it might be a plot twist for later on.

Other people requesting it but did you realize how stressful and taxing it is for their family? I'm glad that they are taking turns for mainstream projects. Rain just finished his drama and now it's Kim Taehee's turn. They let each other shine on their own. ♡
