SE put a lot of these in during the last update, like the Chocoboleech in Dangruf Wadi (popped with Beast's Blood, I think), and that sapling with the weird name in Tahrongi Canyon (forget what is used to spawn it). No one (on Allakhazam) knows what the organ is used for yet. Could be a pop item as suggested, or an ingredient to make a pop item/food/equipment, or maybe an NPC wants it for a quest.
