Dr. Victor Wakefield

I’m deeply honored to return to Nevada and serve as your State Superintendent of Public Instruction. My journey in education began as a teacher in my 5th-grade classroom, where I witnessed both the barriers that limit opportunity and what’s possible when students are given the expectations and support they deserve. That experience has guided everything I’ve done since, from recruiting and developing exceptional educators, to shaping education policy, and leading teams committed to advancing educational excellence for all students in Nevada and across the nation.More about VictorMission Statement
