History For The 21st Century
History for the 21st Century (“H/21”) is a collaborative project of the World History Association. Our goal is to support college and university faculty in their efforts to effectively introduce 21st-century students from diverse backgrounds to the study of history at the introductory level, while at the same time supporting faculty in effective pedagogy and curriculum design strategies.
We offer free, inquiry-based, and student-centered learning materials for your history class. This material is largely designed for introductory courses, but it doesn’t matter what college, university, or school you’re from. There’s no attempt to tell you how you should teach your course, and you can freely adapt whatever is here to the needs of your classroom and your students.

Feel free to browse the modules and materials your colleagues have created, to read more about our project and our latest news, and to consider supporting us by becoming a module reviewer, contributor, or donor!
