Dr.Cho is a Professor in the Department of Marketing at Southeast Missouri State University. She brings a rich and dynamic blend of academic expertise and global industry insight, shaped by her experience as a project manager at a U.S.-based global company and as a supervisor at a research center.

Her research agenda focuses on global retail strategies, entrepreneurship, and technology adoption in retailing. She has published in several high-impact, peer-reviewed journals, including the Service Industries Journal, Journal of Brand Management, Journal of Business & Industrial Marketing, International Journal of Market Research, Review of International Business and Strategy, Marketing Intelligence & Planning, Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management, and Clothing and Textiles Research Journal, among others. Her work is included in both SSCI and ABDC journal lists. Dr. Cho has received multiple honors for her research, including two distinguished research paper awards and two second-place research competition awards from the International Textile and Apparel Association, as well as a Best Research Paper Award from the American Marketing Science / American Collegiate Retail Association, among other recognitions.

Dr. Cho has taught Principles of Marketing, Retail Marketing, Brand Marketing, Public Relations, Consumer Behavior, Retail Buying, The Business Universe, Global Fashion Marketing, Fashion Forecasting, Beyond Project Runway, and Visual Merchandising. She has actively advised students through internships, independent studies, national and international study trips, and involvement in a student organization. A community-collaborative course project led by her students was featured in both a regional (Southeast Missourian) and campus (Arrow) newspaper, highlighting the real-world impact of her teaching.

Before joining Southeast Missouri State University, Dr. Cho was an Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Villa Maria College in Buffalo, New York.
