They just put bullets down range and not twice as good as a very nice M14/M1A either or are a better rifle to me. If you want a .308/7.62x51mm different from an M14 than the PTR91's are an excellent choice. I've never got to hold one, but what from what I've read they're pretty accurate, built like tanks, low recoil, and lightweight.
