The safe and aseptic packaging of medical products is crucial for protection against treatment-related infections. The hm 780 DC-V rotary sealing device with an integrated printer was developed especially for the high requirements in hospitals. It provides the necessary safety and documentation functionality for ensuring sterility during automatic sealing processes (sterile barrier systems). Intelligent technologies, such as the automatic adjustment of the packaging label printout to the film width, round off this device concept focused on comprehensive ergonomics. High-quality recyclable materials as well as energy-saving technologies conserve resources and protect the environment.

Statement by the Jury

The sealer has flush edges, giving the device a compact and valuable appearance. Besides the minimalist style, the jury also praised the product’s environmentally friendly design.
