Volunteer Spotlight!

Emma Davis

Emma was our first Training and Outreach “Extern” while she finished her program at Texas State. She attended Summer Advocate Training and stayed in the extern program through the fall, acquiring over 100 hours. Emma was one of HCWC’s most reliable, hard-working volunteers, helping with HEARTeam intakes, SART meetings, childcare, and events.

“My experience with HCWC has been invaluable.  The work I’ve done here, and the mission of the center are something that will stick with me and impact the way I will lead my life.  It’s truly been an honor to be a part of such an awesome organization.” -Emma
