Valedictory 2025

Class of 2025 Valedictory Ceremony A beautiful morning filled with reflection, pride, and inspiration! Our Valedictory Assembly celebrated the remarkable journey of the Class of 2025, with heartfelt speeches from our Head Girl and a special address by the Head Girl of 2020, reminding our learners of the legacy they carry forward. Mrs. M Dixon inspired the Class of 2025 with words of motivation as they prepare for their final exams, encouraging them to strive for excellence in all they do. We proudly acknowledged our learners’ outstanding achievements through awards and shared unforgettable moments with their parents, a true celebration of hard work, growth, and perseverance.

The SACS Rhodes Scholarship

Dear Sans Souci Girls’ High community member.

You are receiving this communication because you are connected to the Sans Souci community. Please find herewith an important communication from South African College High School for your consideration. The communication relates to the SACS Rhodes Scholarship.

For several years our school, together with partnered with SACS in an informal arrangement whereby graduate alumni from our school and Rustenburg Girls’ High School were able to apply, alongside graduate alumni of SACS, for a SACS Rhodes Scholarship.

The attached communication outlines a proposal made by the Trustees of the Rhodes Scholarship that will see, among other things, the inclusion of UCT graduates to the pool of eligible SACS Rhodes Scholarship applicants, and the formalisation of the status of Sans Souci and Rustenburg Girls High School as beneficiaries of the scholarship.

Please read the attached carefully and consider submitting comments on the proposal contained therein. The notice process has been extended until 12pm on 18 November 2025 for comments.

We hereby invite you, as a potentially affected person, to comment by submitting any input to the SGB, for its consideration, when taking its decision on the proposed settlement of the dispute with the Rhodes Trust. Please do so by email to the address provided below. Please submit input to [email protected].

Please use “Rhodes Trust Input” in the subject line and disclose the nature of your interest and affiliation to SACS, Sans Souci Girls High School, or Rustenburg Girls High School. (e.g., past learner, current learner, parent, former Rhodes Scholar etc)
