No kettle in the room, so no tea/coffee set, not even bottled water, you will need to request from the lobby/cafe from the staff, or use the microwave if you ever need hot water for tea/coffee. There is tea bags and coffee machine downstairs in the lobby/restaurant, but didn't expect there is charge for it. Australia

Area surrounding the hotel is very residential and was quiet. Had dinner in the small hotel restaurant and it was really good. The walk to the hanging houses which is the main attraction here is probably 20 plus minutes. We were aware of this. Just wasn't so nice to do in the pouring rain.. Malta

9,0 Very good Purpose of trip: Leisure trip What was the highlight of Hotel NH Ciudad de Cuenca Good hotel in beautiful Cuenca We arrived on a Sunday evening and were told the restaurant was closed, but they showed us where many restaurants in the neighbourhood were located. Next morning the hotel called a taxi for us to go to the old town, Plaza Mayor where the Cathedrale was, euro 8. We took the bus back to the hotel, euro 1,20. The bus stop is in front of the Cathedrale and also close to the hotel. We do not recommend to drive your own car because the roads are very narrow closer to the top of the old town. The Cathedrale is beautiful, and the hanging houses and the bridge right behind the church are very nice. Everything walking distance. The hotel has an underground parking garage which is very convenient, take the lift to the reception and to the room. We liked Cuenca very much. Netherlands

A bit far from the historical area of the city. It was about a 30 minute walk. Breakfast was a bit spendy, but there are cafes and restaurants close by. Slovenia
