Here is a guide that includes the basic ways to deactivate the system for VW vehicles. However, if this is not working, you can try to put a programmed key in the ignition in the on position and let it sit for about 20 minutes. On most vehicles this will deactivate the theft system and allow you to resume normal operation. https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-reset-a-security-system If none of this works, we are going to need to scan for codes because at that point the system is telling us there is an issue and we need the codes to tell us what the issue is. Let us know what you find and we can go from there. Thanks Was this answer helpful?YesNo Wednesday, April 29th, 2020 AT 8:13 AM
