Just wondering if its worth it to buy this cooler for my Home nas? It is in a hot closet with other equipment and switches and modem and dvr systems. It is probably 85-90 F all the time in the room.

What type of cooler are you looking for? Does it have to be that low profile?

Unless your case has only 40mm clearance for CPU cooler. I'd use NH-L9x65 or NH-D9L instead. The NH-L9i is barely better than the stock Intel cooler.
