Solution I strongly suspect the ISP has locked this device to prevent access Almost all actual configurations are done with special software from the main office very similar to how cable modems are configured. In any case here is the manual. I know this but I need an IP address. I tried connect to ONT directly with cable and typed ipconfig to Command Prompt. This not works, returns timeout error. Upvote 0 Downvote B

I thought like you. I can see PON device's IP address 10.208.240.1 on router's web panel but as you say I can't access or I don't know how can I access. I get connection timeout or connection refused window. Upvote 0 Downvote B

Aug 9, 2012 30,355 3,525 143,640 That is not the IP of the PONS unless the ISP changed it. I forget what the manual said the default was it was something like 192.168.4.254
