How to Enable TPM on ASUS motherboards for AMD & Intel Systems

With Windows 10 losing support, upgrading to Windows 11 has become essential for many PC users. The upgrade requires users to enable TPM (Trusted Platform Mode) 2.0 for enhanced security measures. Below are step-by-step instructions on how to enable TPM 2.0 and get you up and running on your shiny new operating system!

AMD System Instructions

1. Restart the system.

2. On startup, repeatedly press the F2/Del key to access the bios. 3. Navigate to the " Advanced" tab. If you do not see the tabs shown in the image below, Press the F7 key to switch to Advanced mode. 4. Click on " AMD fTPM" and set it to Enabled. 5. Press the F10 key to save changes and reset. Click Yes on the prompt that appears.

Intel System Instructions

1. Restart the system. 2. On startup, repeatedly press the F2/Del key to access the bios. 3. Navigate to the " Advanced" tab. If you do not see the tabs shown in the image below, Press the F7 key to switch to Advanced mode. 4. Click on " PCH-FW configuration" and set it to Firmware TPM. If it has "PTT" instead as an option after clicking on PCH-FW configuration, set it to Enable. 5. Press the F10 key to save changes and reset. Click Yes on the prompt that appears.
