As you further progress in the game, you'll want to craft better equipment to help you against more challenging enemies, especially late-game bosses. One of the materials you're going to need is the Pristine Leather. In this section of IGN's V Rising guide, you'll find everything you need on how to get Pristine Leather, the necessary components and where to find them, and more.

How to Get Pristine Leather

Pristine Leather is a rare crafting resource that you can make using the Tannery workstation. Defeating Keely the Frost Archer is a requirement to be able to build the Tannery in your castle.

To create one Pristine Leather, you'll need:

• 4 Fish Oil
• 20 Pristine Hide

Where to Farm Pristine Hide

The best place to farm Pristine Hide is in Dunley Farmlands' Gloomgrave Village, just south of the Cursed Forest's Vampire Waygate. Werewolves overrun this seemingly abandoned village, but they only spawn at night. The truth of this village is that the villagers can transform into Werewolves, so wait until around eight at night, and they will soon show up.

It is highly recommended to tackle Gloomgrave Village when you're at least Gear Level 60, as these Werewolves can be a challenge in groups. Each is almost guaranteed to drop 100 Pristine Leather upon death, making this the best place to farm Pristine Hide.

Coincidentally, you can also find Fish Oil by breaking wooden crate barrels scattered around the village, allowing you to farm the necessary materials you'll need to create Pristine Leather.

Where to Farm Fish Oil

Though you can find Fish Oil within Gloomgrave Village or from salvaging Fish you've caught, these are not the most reasonable ways to farm Fish Oil. If you are looking for the best way to farm Fish Oil in V Rising, check our guide on How to Get and Farm Fish Oil.

Assuming you haven't gotten the chance to explore Silverlight Hills or are not strong enough to tackle that region of the world, there is a great spot to farm Fish Oil and plenty of other resources in Dunley Farmlands' Mosswick Village.

Mosswick Village is very well guarded, with several patrols in almost every part of the village. However, compared to Gloomgrave Village, the enemies here are weaker by around 20 levels. You can sneak past the guards in the front entrance using Human Form, then go for the villagers. You can also break some wooden boxes that may contain Fish Oil inside the village.

• Just be wary of the Bell Ringers roaming about, as they will alert guards of your presence if they see you.
