How to Manage / Delete Game Save Data on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite, Nintendo Switch - OLED Model
Steps to remove save data from the system memory for a single user or delete all save data for specific software on Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch.
Important: Once deleted, save data cannot be recovered.
Complete these steps
Select System Settings from the HOME Menu.
Scroll down and select Data ManagementGestión de datosGestion des donnéesGerenciar dados, then Delete Save Data.
Enter your Parental Controls PIN, if prompted.
Select the game title for which you want to delete the save data.
Select the user whose save data you want to delete, or select Delete Save Data for this Software to delete the save data for all users.
Select Delete Save Data to confirm.
Additional information
Game save data is stored in the console’s internal memory and cannot be saved or moved to a microSD card.
