A great value when an SSD is installed.
With the standard 1TB HDD, this computer is fairly slow to boot and operate. However, a simple swap to a SATA SSD makes the computer very fast, and the 12 GB of RAM is adequate for everydays tasks. Although sold as refurbished, my unit looked brand new.

It’s an ok Laptop
This laptop looks great but it has some flaws to it. Number one to be an I5 core, it is not fast at all. Not sure why that is, but very disappointed in that. Also the USB ports are not good. I’m having to wiggle the USB in order to get it to work. My mouse and keyboard will just stop working. Not real pleased with this.

Excellent laptop for the money.
So far the laptop is working well. The light up on the background keys is a little annoying though. Hard to see the keys and you cant change the color. Ihad to turn it off. Other than that it;s been running pretty good and is light weight. Heard a lot of bad things about this model, but so far so good.

Laptop Love!
I love it! I've only had desktops in the past, so it is exciting to have access in any and every room. I love the monitor screen size. I can use it in bed! I've definitely turned a corner, here. I'm looking for a sturdy case, so I can do my computing everywhere, even in my car(not while driving, of course)! This was a great purchase, clearly one of my better ideas! Yaaaaay!

Great bang for your buck - excellent laptop
I think for what you get the price is right on the mark. I love the 17.3 inch screen size considering my eyes are not what they used to be. Plus I just like not having to deal with a tiny 14 inch screen which I think is just way too small for a laptop. The laptop was in excellent condition - no issues so far after using it for a few weeks now. I did swap out the 5400 1TB HDD with a much faster 500GB SSD drive that I had laying around. In addition to the SSD HDD I also added a 250GB NVME drive for additional capability.

Works great... good value for money!
This machine works perfectly well. I had doubts when buying because it was refurbished but now I'm glad I made that risky decision. The battery life is great... I worked on it (browsing, typing, reading) all at the same time for 2hours 30 minutes and the battery was down to just 63% from 100%. What more? The HDD storage is mind blowing - 1Terabyte! That's a lot of storage for me given that I need a lot of storage space for my job. It connected seamlessly with my HP Smart printer and other wireless devices. This machine is really it for me and all for under $400.
Excellent basic computer. It is what most people need for surfing the web. I can only see one future problem. As more memory is used along with having many open programs, apps and browsers, the low sitting will trap heat and will cause problems. It needs some type of hinge lift or other way to get more clearance for air to cool the components.
Considering the $350 price (refurbished) , it is the deal of deals. Upgraded to Win11 for free and installed an NVME PCIE SSD as the new boot drive....It really flies now that the hard disk has been eliminated (left it in for simple storage). The one I received looked brand new inside and out, and the battery was still in brand new condition per the Windows battery report. The only strange thing is the placement of the power key which is located on the function keys right side.

This computer I just bought
It was refurbished. I bought it mainly for shipping purposes and it handles transactions and printing just fine. So far, speed is pretty average. Battery lasts for a little over half a day with continuous use and a few days when used here and there (not constantly running tasks). It’s pretty lightweight, large screen, but no optical drive. Bummer. But all in all, nice computer.
