      Refer the link for the drivers “HP Pavilion dv6-6119tx Drivers”. http://adf.ly/KXsGtMethod 1: Install the drivers in Compatibility mode. Install the HP drivers from the manufacturer’s website. If Windows 8 drivers are not available, you can install Windows 7 drivers in compatibility mode. Follow these steps: Note: Download the latest drivers from the Manufacturer’s website and save it on to the Desktop. a) Press the ‘Windows + W’ key on the keyboard.b) Type compatibility in the search box and then press enter.c) Click “Run programs made for previous versions of Windows” option from the list appeared in the left side.d) Select the drivers and install.

    My new usb data card not working in my laptop...its sowing some error in installation. Any idea wat to do ???? its auto detecting in my friends laptop .....i dont know wat is wrong ....i even tried after exiting my Kaspersky....

      open device manager by click start and type DEVMGMT.MSC and press enter. Look for unknown USB (make sure you plug the USB data Card). Right click on the unknown USB and select uninstall, restart your computer. after that unplug it, and plug it back, normally it will solve the problem.

    Save the driver installation file folder on desktop, rename the folder with simple name such as wifi driver(normally filename with symbol such as // is not accepted).You can directly download netframe from microsoft here:http://www.microsoft.com/en-my/download/details.aspx?id=17851

      Hi there, Normally windows update will solve the USB problems, the driver for USB 2.0 is provide by windows installation file and no standalone driver ever provided for USB 2.0 ports except USB 3.0.Fingerprint: Did u try to install the driver i provided on the post above?

      Hi there, For fingerprint, uninstall your current fingerprint driver in control panel. Install this driver:http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52001-52500/sp52354.exeTo install right click and select run as admin. Re-install digital persona (link on the post above) also by right click and run as admin.For beats audio install this driver:ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52001-52500/sp52399.exeNormally after installation it will show up n the control panel.

      Help me with this. My DVD drive is not reading the discs that i insert. Well it reads some of the discs. I tried re-installing the driver but it isn't working!what can i do? Please help me!When i insert the disc, it creates some sort of noise and later it stops. Again when i try opening the DVD through my computer and it displays application not found! I really need some help please! :) REGARDS

      Have you try with different disc, DVD produce noise if faulty disc inserted in it.

      Installing driver wont do any good i think, the best way is to reinstall OS and look if the problem persist means your DVD is faulty. Is it only happen in current windows?

      Check your wireless device in device manager and get the hardware ID and post it here. (tutorial)For your information, there are 4 wireless variant for your model which is ralink, broadcom, intel and intel wimax, sometime you may have Atheros wireless device in dv6 model. So the best way to identify your wireless is by looking at the hardware ID.

      The link is still working, I already test it, try to right lick on the download link and select "save link as" , or if you are using download manager, try to disable it first.Another trick is to look at the url, example for the Card reader the download link is : ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp45001-45500/sp45048.exenow take the file name (the softpaq number) which is SP45048.exe, search it using google you will find alternate download link.

    What is your actual dv6 model? because you may need to install the later driver version for it, you can find your actual model number on the back of your laptop(small sticker). Example hp pavilion dv6-1123US.

      Base on the information provided by HP website, you model should have Intel or AMD graphic chip, however if your model do use Nvidia graphic, install this driver:SP45339The best way to get the latest drivers is from the Nvidia download site, www.nvidia.com and select automatically detect my GPU/Drivers.

      You need to identify the driver model to get the driversFor fingerprint, uninstall your current fingerprint driver in control panel. Install this driver:http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp52001-52500/sp52354.exeTo install right click and select run as admin. Re-install digital persona (link on the post above) also by right click and run as admin.
