HTC sensation XL is a bit old but still a great phone. Unfortunately HTC has stopped its android development. Meaning that there will be no official OS updates for it in the future. It received updates from HTC till Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

But that doesn’t limit you from enjoying sweetness of JellyBean or KitKat. There are many custom ROMs out there that’ll upgrade your HTC Sensation XL to a later version of Android. I’m going list few of them on this post. Please remember that you can’t flash ROMs designed for any other Sensation into Sensation XL. So the ROMs on this post will not work on other Sensation versions such as 4G or XE.

1. Well all ROMs in this page are good. But personally, I like MIUI over others

RUNNY-KITKAT 4.4.2 STABLE doesn’t support proximity and light sensors. If you make a call your display is swichted off and you can’t end the call.
