JRM Construction Management completed work on The Shops at Hudson Yards retail mall, including Neiman Marcus’ New York City flagship store located at 20 Hudson Yards. JRM worked closely with Janson Goldstein and Avcon Engineers to complete the construction of the 215,000 SF department store. The project spanned a period of 14 months and included the build-out of space for 33 of Neiman Marcus’ brand partners, such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Tom Ford, Burberry, and Valentino.

The project also included the build-out of two full restaurants and bars inside Neiman Marcus. Prior to the project commencement, JRM was responsible for the coordination with the owner’s subcontractors, millworkers, and security to design the space.

In addition, JRM built-out 600,000 SF of interior common spaces throughout the LEED Gold Certified retail mall. The scope of work included public bathrooms, corridors, lighting and controls, decorative metals and ceilings, metal and glass railings, and escalator cladding. JRM installed 180,000 SF of finished marble flooring and white box for all the retail mall stores.
