DUAL SPECTRUM CHIRP

Easy identification of fish and objects through the best separation of targets, which enables fish to be found on the bottom in the best possible way. Dual Spectrum offers two search options and a full beam.

• Full Beam: 150-220 kHz - improved target separation
• Wide Beam: 140-200 kHz, 42 ° - maximum coverage
• Narrow beam: 180-240 kHz, 25 ° - improved ground view

MEGA performance with megahertz

Down Imaging continues to work in the megahertz range, so to speak, mega power with mega vision. A look down now reveals maximum details, as the resolution quality has improved drastically compared to other devices in the kilohertz range. The quality of the presentation is almost photo-realistic - made possible by the high-resolution display. Under optimal conditions it should even be possible to identify the species of fish. Furthermore, the HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N has SwitchFire and Time Variable Gain (TVG), which ensure that fish sizes at different depths are represented in real assessable sizes - and this is also visible on the display. With a little practice, you should be able to roughly determine the size of the target fish.

Broadband Chirp Sonar

Equipped with real broadband chirp 2D sonar, the HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N echo sounder can capture highly detailed images. Even a school of fish standing close together can be separated individually and a predator lurking underneath can be identified in the picture. The new HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA DI GPS G4N are among the few echo sounders that have real broadband chirp. Real broadband chirp is extremely different in performance from the pseudo chirp of many other echo sounders. The frequency band to be chirped can be freely selected (low, medium or high chirp). Most importantly, you can set the start and end frequency of each chirp.

AutoChart Live

You want to create your own water map, no matter where and live? Then you are exactly right with AutoChart Live from Humminbird - and with this famous system, live mapping is possible at all, as only with Garmin. It even automatically records the hardness of the soil and vegetation and can place them as an overlay with freely selectable transparency over your electronic nautical chart from Navionics. All HELIX 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N echo sounders have this ingenious function. You have up to 8 hours of recording time in the echo sounder - a kind of trial subscription. For endless mapping you then need the additionally available Zero Line SD card, which stores the internal device memory for several years of water exploration. The Zero Line SD card is also included in the scope of delivery of the two full PC versions AutoChart PC and AutoChart PC Pro.

Bluetooth Interface

Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N echo sounders have an integrated Bluetooth interface. With this, the echo sounder cannot be remote controlled (there is an optional RC-2 remote control), but you can connect your smartphone to it and display calls, text messages, signal strength and battery status of your smartphone on the Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N. This is especially helpful if you want to protect your smartphone from water and rough everyday fishing.

Wireless operated

An optional Bluetooth remote control can ensure that you can operate your Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N echo sounder from a distance. With the remote control you can set waypoints, zoom, adjust the sensitivity or switch between your favorite views at the push of a button. Thanks to the wireless Bluetooth technology, this is possible with the Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N fish finders. The remote control is freely programmable - you can assign any function to each button: switch it on or off, operate the 360 imaging transmitter or save an i-Pilot LINK Spot-Lock anchor function so that your fishing boat stops regardless of wind and weather. Ingenious, practical, incredibly simple and a dream come true for every boat angler.

Ethernet

The new Helix 9 CHIRP G4N series from Humminbird is network-compatible thanks to the built-in and improved Ethernet connection. This means that you can network several devices with each other, share waypoints and many other data with each other. Ingeniously, you can choose between different encoders via Ethernet - e.g. a Minn Kota US2 sonar or a Humminbird 360 imaging transducer, which you can then use to all echo sounders in the network, if you want.

Dual SD Card Slots

Every Humminbird Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N echo sounder is equipped with two SD card slots. So that you can work with your Navionics sea charts and at the same time save waypoints, screenshots, sonar data and recorded tracks in the second SD card slot. Your Zero Line card for AutoChart Live data fits perfectly into the second SD slot, with which you can create individual depth maps. This gives you the full range of options and significantly more fish and safety on board at the end of your fishing day.

Autopilot

Humminbird Helix echo sounders are compatible with the Humminbird autopilot system. This takes over the control of your boat and manages to hold your course even in wind and waves. You can take the shortest route to your destination, but you can also take a special route, both of which are set up in seconds. The autopilot system is not only convenient and safe, it also helps you save fuel.

NMEA 2000

The NMEA 2000 port makes it possible to transfer external data directly to your Helix 9 G4N. Such data can come from very different devices. Data from the boat engine such as tank capacity, fuel consumption or the current speed or even weather data from external modules are possible, for example. No matter what comes up in your control center sounder screen - you keep an eye on it. All you need is a connection to the NMEA 2000-capable devices and all the data is already present on your echosounder.

Multimedia-platform

It is logical that such a MEGA echo sounder can do more than just fish sickles. Therefore it also has a Bluetooth and NMEA interface and is fully network compatible. Build your own Ethernet on board. Turn the Humminbird Helix 9 CHIRP MEGA DI + GPS G4N into a control center. Motor control, access to second and third echo sounders or your smartphone with text messages and call display and of course a remote control such as the Humminbird RC-2 remote control with which you can control the echo sounder from all areas on board. You can even connect the iPilot or the Humminbird 360 Imaging all-round vision sonar. And it's not complicated, you don't have to laboriously readjust everything. You can program three quick selection buttons for a perfect setup and make them ready for use at the touch of a button.
