The team behind the Freeware Airbus H135 helo have announced they are working on a Payware H145.

The project looks interesting but personally I'd like to know a lot more about how they will handling the flight model ESPECIALLY for that price.

Hmmm...if the avioincs are mostly accurate I'd consider it. Pricey though at least in MSFS land.

Cool. Well they did a great job with the freeware H135. So perhaps the price covers some of the freeware development costs. Can look at it that way.

for $43, it will be interesting to see why I should consider this over staying with their freeware H135. I'm all about supporting devs but this is a high price for ME to consider. Maybe $20-30 at most but not $43. If I dont buy it, maybe I will donate $$ for their H135. my opinion

I purchased an "early access pledge" once and ended up waiting nearly 4 years for a certain twin-engine-turboprop in P3D. No complaints, I knew what I was doing. While I get the idea behind this business model (which the developer of said aircraft has since then abandoned for obvious reasons) I decided that for me it's better to wait for the finished product. That's just me...

$43 dollars? Are they insane? Listen. The freeware H135 was nice and all but a far fetch from real helicopter flight dynamics and controls. And the modelling and texturing was basic. Don't get me wrong. It was a great "default style" freeware aircraft that the sim was lacking.
But a $43 blind pledge to an upstart unproven company hoping that they somehow are going to produce something even better and more accurate?
I'm good thanks. I'd rather go throw a few coins into a fountain at the mall

Looks nice in the pictures posted, but I would like to see more cockpit pics to appreciate a bit more the texture quality. At that price level I would expect a total revamped flight model with extremely good textures both inside and outside the copter.
Cheers, Ed

They've done a good job with the H135 all things considered (V1.1 released today... flight model feels better than ever) but the H145 simply isn't a different enough style of Heli for me to be interested in and certainly not for $43 That's crazy pricing!
With FlyInside in the heli game now i'm far more interested in what they come up with next. The Bell is the most fun I've had in the sim, the flight model is amazing and their pricing far more reasonable.
Still, great to see Helis really getting some love at last in FS2020. Infinitely more fun to fly than planes.

I've been around too long and have seen this too many times.
Call me what you will. But this just feels like a cash grab. They struck gold as first helicopter for MSFS. They did a great job for what it was..
Then to come around and ask for $43 and you literally get NOTHING in return except promises? Get the heck out of here with this. This is literally the issue with Flight Simming. You don't know who is honest (besides the established veterans like Just Flight etc), who is capable, and who is just looking for easy money..
This needs to end with MSFS. Either put up, or shutup and the community needs to get behind this and stop defending these practices. Who even are these people and where on earth did they get the balls to ask for $43 for literally nothing in return? Like seriously. What is even going on?

They say they're doing the Helionix Suite... if it's say, 80% of real world, I'd probably buy it....SYN vision would be nice as well for those mountain rescue missions

I've spoken with them personally and encouraged them to go open-source, as it would allow others to contribute and further improve the project, as well as help anyone else wanting to make a helicopter. Unfortunately, they refused, stating "With being only 1 of 2 helicopters available for the sim some of our development tricks are obviously valuable and for that reason we can’t make our project open source." I do hope they reconsider, and I'm not the biggest fan of this price tag (almost near the cost of the Aerosoft CRJ), as well the concept of a preorder - which we've seen backfire many times in the gaming community.
Please do not contact me via DM for support or help with the A32NX mod. We recommend using our help channel on our Discord.

It being an effective variation on what they've already made is a bit weird. I get that they can port a load of stuff over but they've probably reduced potential sales by a huge percentage.
If it was a totally different machine then all those appetites they've whetted will be a whole lot keener.

I would like to hear what real pilots think about the flight model. It's really expensive. They announced this price due to the lack of competitors.

This is the very definition of a power trip. This arrogant attitude is not wanted, needed, or welcome in this community. It just goes to show how new they are..

How is that arrogant? They have created something no one else has done….yet. How is this different from any other payware developer?
