Infiniti adds another all-wheel drive car to their stable, this time with the G37x S. This also marks the first time for Infiniti to have its sportiest S grade available with the AWD in the G range. The only other car that was available with AWD is the GT.
The G37x S gets all the red S badges, 18” Sport design alloys and smoked lens headlights. Inside, the Infiniti features sports seats with 14-way electronic adjustments for the driver, aluminium paddles and footrest, HDD navigation, music systems, 10-speaker Bose Premium Sound System, reverse camera and high-res touch screen.
Powering the G37x S is a 316 hp 3.7 litre V6 mated to a 7-speed auto transmission with paddle shifters. The car has a top speed of 240 kph and a 0-100 of 6.0 seconds.
It is available now in the UK from £38,979. The G37x S completes the G range that consists of the G37 S Premium, two G37 GT models, G37 coupe and G37 convertible.

240kph from a 3.7 litre engine. Everyone’s downsizing, and Nissan is offering this behemoth which will drain you when it comes to road tax renewal. Look at the 2 litre motors that are coming out from BMW these days and learn a thing or two from there…

Obviously you are not the target buyer. This is a luxury sports sedan. For your info, the latest BMW M5 uses 4.4 litre V8 engine.

true….downsizing is the way to go….with such little power coming out of such a big engine….this will only sell well in places like the US…

agree with you partially. downsizing is good for everyone’s pockets (especially malaysia’s) but in these days having a big engine is sort of unique, i mean i won’t buy it but its good to know it exists. perhaps their main target market is still the usa where engine size doesnt matter that much while for europe they have the diesel engines. so infiniti, could you pull a bmw or mercedes whereby they intro a special smaller capacity engine for asian markets?

You cannot compare this with an M5. The NIssan GTR, perhaps. . The Audi A8 L uses a 3 litre lump that churns out 290bhp and 420 nm of torque. And are you saying that the Audi is not a “luxury sports sedan”?

Lol… Well, its true that current trend worship engine downsizing. But, bigger engine is unique esp in malaysia. i have a 528i 3.0l. Realli feels diff compared to turbo-ed 4. And its special too.

ppl complaining bout non downsizing….hello….why the need to provide you with a downsized engine while you never ever care bout the environment?and downsizing it to sell to you?don’t think you can even afford it even they downsized it for you…. luxury cars doesn’t have to go downsized route unless they can’t cope with the emission standard…big engine isn’t bad and small engine isn’t always good… luxury brand do not need to overly downsize their engine when they don’t need to…just because it’s a trend doesn’t mean that everyone must follow… so iPhone is a trend and anyone using android or other OS should go and die?please use your brain
