Overall i guess the CPU still good for the cheap price. A little bottleneck for my GPU tho it also has Great Clock Speed NOTE: This CPU will not run like you always want it to and it does not really run Modern AAA Games that good. This CPU also supports only DDR3 LGA1150 MoBos.

Pros

  • Kind of Good and still Fast
  • 3.4-3.7 GHz!

Cons

  • Old 2012 CPU kind of outdated
  • Bottleneck with my RX 580 Sapphire Nitro 8 GB

The Intel Core i7-4770 is a 4th-generation Haswell processor released in 2013. While it was a powerhouse in its time, offering four cores, eight threads, and a base clock of 3.4 GHz (boosting up to 3.9 GHz), it has aged considerably compared to modern CPUs. The i7-4770 is still usable for everyday tasks and older games but is far from ideal for modern gaming, content creation, or heavy workloads. If you’re on a tight budget and already own one, it can still serve you decently. However, upgrading to a newer CPU (even a mid-range Ryzen 5 or Intel Core i5 from recent generations) would provide a significant performance boost.

  • Decent Multi-Threading – With Hyper-Threading, it can handle multitasking and productivity tasks fairly well.
  • Good Performance for Older Systems – Still capable of handling basic workloads, web browsing, office tasks, and even light gaming.

I've been using this i7 for a long time and it hasn't disappointed me. It runs all the games I've tested above 60FPS (with a RX 490) and even some very heavy ones. It renders video and edits images wonderfully well, I'm quite fond of this little guy.
