• The concept of Positive Pay involves a process of reconfirming key details of large value cheques for the CTS instruments. Under this process, before presentation of the instrument, the account holder submits the details of the cheque (viz. Account Number, Cheque Number, Cheque Date, Cheque Amount, Transaction Code, MICR Code, and Payee Name) electronically for the amount of Rs. 50,000 & above through the following Channels:
  • Internet Banking
  • Mobile Banking
  • IOB Website(www.iob.in) for those do not have Internet/Mobile Banking
  • Submit PPS details for cheques of Rs 50,000 and above. PPS is mandatory for all cheques of amount Rs.5.00 lakhs and above.
  • Cheques details which are available in PPS will alone be accepted under DISPUTE RESOLUTION MECHANISM of the CTS Grids.

We advise our customers not to disclose the card details to any of the links that offer free service/free education/website hosting free of cost or some free software download etc. Customer should type URL directly instead of going to searched or offered link. We advise all our customers to register the mobile number for SMS alerts immediately with the Branch.
