Is My Phone Compatible With Golf Pad TAGS?

The quickest and most reliable way to check your phone's compatibility is to open up the Golf Pad TAGS tab in the preferences menu of the Golf Pad app and see if any warnings are displayed.

Golf Pad TAGS use technology called Near Field Communication (NFC). Most Android phones and iPhones have it nowadays. You can check the full list of NFC-enabled Android phones here.

NOTE: This link provided is informational only and it is not maintained by Golf Pad. You can also verify with your phone manufacturer to determine if your phone is NFC enabled.

Golf Pad Classic supports iPhones 7 or later with iOS 13.4 and up. The original iPhone SE is not compatible with TAGS, however, the latest version SE (2020) is compatible. Android phones must run Android 5.0 or later.

Golf Pad supports iPhones with iOS 16.0 or later and Android phones with Android 8.1 or later.

Older Golf Pad TAGS may not work with iPhone, see this articlefor more information.
