Now, our JBL Tune 760NC wireless headphones review will discuss its performance and how it fared during our tests.

Hands-on with the JBL Tune 760NC Wireless Headphones

When we first tested the Tune 760NC wireless headphones, we noticed the slight bass-heavy sound profile that it had. Because of this, it was able to bring in some additional punch and thump to our audio.

However, the rest of its range seemed pretty neutral so lead instruments and vocals were still clearly reproduced. So, we were able to experience audio suited for listening, and this applies to all kinds of audio content.

The thing is, these headphones weren’t compatible with JBL’s headphones application. So, we weren’t able to customise the sounds.

These headphones definitely had excellent bass accuracy. Low and mid-bass were slightly overemphasised which added extra punch and power to our mixes.

However, we noticed that its bass delivery was inconsistent at times, so it resulted in average responses. That said, everyone’s real-world experience may vary when using the Tune 760NC wireless headphones.

When it comes to its mid accuracy, it was simply amazing. Its range was superbly neutral and balanced, so lead instruments and vocals were reproduced accurately, clearly, and with detail.

These headphones definitely had good treble accuracy while its range was quite balanced. Everything was clear and bright, so our listening experience was fairly good.

For its ANC feature, it has an okay noise isolation performance. It was able to block out mid-range sounds such as high-pitched noises and ambient chatter. However, when it came to loud sounds like the rumbling of buses and plane engines, we could still hear those.

Mic Performance

Let’s also discuss its microphone in our JBL Tune 760NC wireless headphones review. For its recording quality, we can say that it’s quite satisfactory. Our voices sounded clean, natural, and neutral, but it was also a bit thin.

But despite that, whoever was on the other line was able to understand us when we spoke. That’s what matters and we have no complaints about it.

The microphone has a decent way of handling noise. However, we noticed that it struggled to separate our voices from background noise. This was most evident in busy environments such as the train stations, subways, and the like.

So just a reminder, you’ll probably need to take your calls in a more quiet environment.

Connectivity of the JBL Tune 760NC Wireless Headphones

Speaking of its connectivity, we were able to experience outstanding Bluetooth connectivity with it. We were able to pair these with two other devices simultaneously, and we didn’t experience any issues during the process. This is extremely handy since we often switch from audio sources.

Though we did notice that its latency was a bit high with Android devices and PCs. So, we can’t really recommend these headphones for streaming videos. However, there are a couple of applications around that can compensate for latency differently.

Again, your experience may vary from ours and everyone else.

JBL Tune 760NC Wireless Headphones Review Summary

The JBL Tune 760NC is a great pair of wireless headphones that deliver neutral-sounding audio. Its sound profile is slightly bass-heavy which adds punch and thump to music without overpowering vocals and lead instruments. These headphones are good for listening to different types of music.
