There are big things on the horizon for Jessalyn and JoJo Siwa's XOMG Pop! girl group. On Tuesday, May 31, the seven-member band hit the stage to audition on none other than America's Got Talent.

The larger-than-life group put their talent to the test as they performed their debut single, "Candy Hearts." The crowd clapped and cheered as XOMG POP! performed. The group even received praise from judge Simon Cowell, who's known for delivering tough love to contestants. "I didn’t like it… I loved it. Your energy, your enthusiasm, it was like a mini little explosion," he said. "I’m really, really, really excited and happy that you came to audition for us."

The group's America's Got Talent debut brought JoJo great joy, but there was some drama involved, too. The singer and dancing phenom took to Twitter to address critics who celebrated when they learned that one of the show's judges would be leaving after the audition round concluded. "Literally why tweet this," JoJo wrote. Then she listed several of her many qualifications, proving that she deserves to be a judge on the show.

"18 Years of Dance Knowledge, 4 Major dance TV shows, I've hired over 1000 dancers, 16 Dance music videos, If you don't like me that's okay… but if you think I don't know about dance ya just sound silly," she wrote.

JoJo founded the girl group along with her mother on their Peacock series Siwas Dance Pop Revolution in 2021. The eight-episode series followed the mother-daughter duo as they created the perfect girl group filled with talented young singers and dancers.
