Description

Application: Pair-twisted, shielded halogen-free signal cable for use in signaling and control purposes in low voltage installations where very high fire safety requirements are imposed.

Characteristics (properties): • Halogen-free • Solid conductors according to IEC 60228 class 1 • The pairs of conductors are twisted with an optimal, non-harmonic pitch relative to each other with at least 7 twists per meter. This ensures good crosstalk attenuation. • Single-pair cables have a special pitch of 80 mm (12.5 twists per meter). • Collective shielding of aluminum foil with underlying grounding wire. • Standard version with grey outer sheath. • Available with a red outer sheath for fire alarm and evacuation installations (BMO). • Available in other colors on request. • KEMA-KEUR certified

Core identification: • NEN 1597 (pair cables) • For the 1 x 2 x 1 mm², 1 x 2 x 1.5 mm², and 1 x 2 x 2.5 mm² versions, the core coding is RED + BLUE. • The 1 x 4 x 0.8 mm version has core coding RED, BLUE, YELLOW, and GREEN.
