Which shouldnt be happening with 24" buried. Figured they used the newer 460 turd porting cylinder to copy. Hated those even in oem. Those two has always out cut the G372xp. Out the box the 372 is just really lacking with huge squish etc. Can be made to run with base cut etc. But IMO shouldnt have to. Well with that said I went looking for a stock stihl early D cylinder from 046. They are the best runners stock. I switched just the cylinder to see. Bingo. That 046 D cylinder made it run like they should. Stronger with 24" buried then my 444 now. If I hadnt had owned both the 444 and 466 I wouldnt even known there was something lacking in the 466's. Pic of cylinder after a fresh quick crosshatch to deglaze old cylinder. Not needed but I sure think it makes a difference. ;) s046dddd.jpg s046dddddd.jpg s046ddd.jpg s046dd.jpg s046D.jpg Last edited: May 3, 2021 May 5, 2021 / Just another junk chainsaw

Was the later 880 copy with the 2 piece muffler and bolts on like normal. Hated the cast muffler early ones. If a good as G66 is. Will be a winner for guys on budgets for big saws. Going to try and get one for a demo for my locals. g888zzzzz.jpg g888zzzz.jpg g888zzz.jpg g888zz.jpg g888z.jpg May 5, 2021 / Just another junk chainsaw #1,004 Snobdds

I get paid the same to work on them as oem. ;) So dont matter to me. Cost to fix is no different then any other saw. I mean I got guys that cant afford OEM 660's if you could find them in decent shape. Now he owns 2 FT 66's on double ended mill with no issues. $600 for 2 92cc saws ;) So like anything. Each to their own. May 17, 2021 / Just another junk chainsaw

G888 Plastics feel oem like imho so far. 😎 Now those are some bling and much thicker dawgs. Chrome like. 😳 Didn’t touch carb to see. 40:1 for me with 90 efree with VPracing oil. Best saw to date out of the box from Farmertec so far. Smoothest afm tensioner to date. Nicest afm handle rubber to date. Overly impressed. I'll post more later got to run to lake to do some boat stuff. ;) g888man.jpg gg88spec.jpg gg88.jpg May 21, 2021 / Just another junk chainsaw

Then use the 5000 left over parts for the 500 runner. Used to be what I ran for legal 3ci racesaw. p5000pp.jpg p5000cc.jpg p5000ccc.jpg s084d.jpg ddsaws.jpg Prev
