I have a pile of $80 mechanical keyboards that failed, and one $150 keyboard that still works. Get a Ducky Shine 4 or 5, or a Filco board if you plan to get a board. I suggest Cherry MX Reds if you plan to play games and don't type much, if you type alot I suggest getting Cherry MX Blues. Whatever you do, don't buy a Razer board, they break, and have some cheap chinese knockoff keyswitches.Take it from me, I have gone through 9 of them before I got my 3 year old Ducky.If you want the full list of makes, models, and reasons of failure, I can disclose it.
